NRL Team Lists: Round 21

Roosters v Broncos, Thursday 7.50pm at SCG

Roosters: Forwards Lindsay Collins (concussion) and Egan Butcher (suspension) are both out so Matt Lodge moves into the starting side at prop and Terrell May and Ben Thomas are the new faces on the bench. May has played five games off the interchange this season while Thomas lines up for his first NRL match since round 24 last year.

Broncos: Patrick Carrigan received a four-match ban at the judiciary on Tuesday night. Kobe Hetherington has been named in his place at lock. Winger Selwyn Cobbo returns after missing the past fortnight due to a concussion suffered in Origin Three so Delouise Hoeter goes to the reserves list. Jake Turpin has been recalled on the bench at the expense of Cory Paix while Rhys Kennedy also comes into the 17.

Storm v Titans, Friday 6pm at AAMI Park

Storm: Hooker Brandon Smith returns from suspension in a boost for Craig Bellamy but fullback Nick Meaney (shoulder/concussion) is out, replaced by Tyran Wishart. Winger David Nofoaluma has arrived on loan from Wests Tigers and slots straight in to the starting side with Grant Anderson shifting to centre to replace Justin Olam, who has tested positive to COVID. 

Chris Lewis has been recalled on the bench and Xavier Coates is listed among the reserves as he nears a return from an ankle injury.

Titans: Jayden Campbell returns to the starting side at fullback after two games on the interchange so AJ Brimson goes to five-eighth, Tanah Boyd to halfback and Toby Sexton rested. Greg Marzhew is the new man on the bench.

Sea Eagles v Eels, Friday 7.55pm at 4 Pines Park

Sea Eagles: The Sea Eagles have Jason Saab, Christian Tuipulotu, Tolutau Koula, Haumole Olakau'atu and Toafofoa Sipley back in the starting side but Sean Keppie (shoulder) remains sidelined. Andrew Davey suffered a head knock against the Roosters but has been named to play and Ben Trbojevic is back from the head knock he suffered in Round 19. Dylan Walker and Martin Taupau revert to the bench after starting last week.

Eels: Jake Arthur takes over at halfback for the injured Mitch Moses in the only change to the squad that took care of the Panthers in Round 20. Arthur starts at halfback for the first time in 2022 after playing five-eighth in rounds 7 and 8.

Rabbitohs v Warriors, Saturday 3pm at Sunshine Coast Stadium

Rabbitohs: Taane Milne returns from a finger injury in the centres, filling the hole left by Jed Cartwright (hamstring). Bench forward Tom Burgess (suspended) is out, replaced by Mark Nicholls. The other new face on the interchange is Blake Taaffe, who is recalled for his first game since Round 15. Kodi Nikorima is out.

Warriors: Euan Aitken has been moved from the back row to the centres in place of Adam Pompey who drops to the reserves. Five-eighth Chanel Harris-Tavita is out with a knee injury so Wayde Egan moves from hooker to the No.6 jersey and Freddy Lussick has been promoted to start in the No.9.

Aaron Pene (illness), Bayley Sironen (eye socket) and Jack Murchie (parental leave) all return in the pack. Josh Curran goes to the bench and Jazz Tevaga drops out due to a shoulder injury suffered against the Storm. Taniela Otukolo will play his first game since round 13 on the bench.

Raiders v Panthers, Saturday 5.30pm at GIO Stadium

Raiders: The return of Jordan Rapana from suspension sees Albert Hopoate drop to 18th Man. Adam Elliott hurt his hip against the Titans but has been named to play.

Panthers: Sean O'Sullivan moves from five-eighth to halfback to cover for Nathan Cleary, who was suspended for five games for a dangerous tackle. Jaeman Salmon comes into the starting side at five-eighth. Origin centre Stephen Crichton returns from the nasty ear cut he suffered against the Sharks and back-up hooker Mitch Kenny (knee) is also back on deck.

Sharks v Dragons, Saturday 7.35pm at PointsBet Stadium

Sharks: A blow for the Sharks with fullback Will Kennedy facing 5-6 weeks on the sideline after undergoing ankle surgery. His place is taken by Kade Dykes on debut. Royce Hunt is out with a shoulder injury so Braden Hamlin-Uele will start and Braydon Trindall joins the bench. Hunt has been listed among the reserves so he may get a recall later in the week should he recover quickly.

Dragons: Coach Anthony Griffin has stuck with the same 17 that went down to the Cowboys on Sunday. Fullback Cody Ramsey is expected back on deck in Round 22 from a knee injury.

Bulldogs v Cowboys, Sunday 2pm at Salter Oval, Bundaberg

Bulldogs: Mick Potter has named the same 17 that got the job done against the Knights. Raymond Faitala-Mariner is listed among the reserves as he looks to return from the rib cartilage injury that sidelined him in Round 20.

Cowboys: Winger Kyle Feldt will miss two games with a hamstring injury and his place is taken by Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow. Veteran Jake Granville is the new man on the bench.

Wests Tigers v Knights, Sunday 4.05pm at Campbelltown Stadium

Wests Tigers: Youngster Fonua Pole gets his second crack in the starting side as the replacement for Jackson Hastings (ankle). At 26, Wests Magpies NSW Cup captain Tom Freebairn will make his NRL debut off the bench. Luke Garner remains sidelined with a neck injury.

Knights: Star centre Bradman Best returns from a thumb injury so Enari Tuala shifts to the wing and Simi Sasagi goes to the bench. Prop David Klemmer was not considered for selection due to disciplinary reasons, replaced by Jacob Saifiti. Utility Kurt Mann is listed among the reserves as he looks to return from a quad injury.
