NRL Casualty Ward: Warriors lose skipper; Star halves return

Warriors captain Tohu Harris has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery for a chronic wrist injury.

The veteran forward has been carrying the issue for most of the year, missing four games in the middle of the team's campaign before returning to the field.

Harris was a late withdrawal from the Warriors' Round 18 loss to the Bulldogs and the decision has now been made to focus on ensuring a full recovery.

Andrew Webster's men will also be without fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad (calf) and winger Marcelo Montoya (groin) for their clash with the Raiders, who get a huge boost with halfback Jamal Fogarty returning from a biceps injury suffered in Round 7.

The Panthers get their main man Nathan Cleary back from the hamstring injury that has sidelined him since Round 10 while Broncos skipper Adam Reynolds rounds out the star-studded line-up of returning playmakers, named in the extended squad after eight games out with a biceps injury.

The Sea Eagles get Ben Trbojevic back from concussion protocols while prop Taniela Paseka is listed among the reserves as he closes in on a return from a thumb injury.

Wests Tigers will be sweating on the fitness of skipper Api Koroisau, who has been listed among the reserves but looks set to miss the game against Souths with a calf injury. Fellow Tiger Alex Seyfarth will miss the match under the NRL's concussion protocols.

Knights forward Brodie Jones has also entered the concussion protocols after failing a HIA in Sunday's clash against Manly.

There are ACL concerns for young Shark Jesse Colquhoun who left the field after only four minutes on the field with a suspected ACL injury. The forward was running the ball and fell clutching his left knee. He will undergo scans to determine the full extent of his injury.

Cronulla halfback Nicho Hynes has been ruled for at least eight weeks after having surgery to repair the ankle he injured at training on Monday.

"It has been confirmed that Nicho has a complete syndesmosis rupture, plus a tibia fracture to his left ankle," Sharks head of performance Nathan Pickworth confirmed on Tuesday.

Dolphins back-rower Euan Aitken suffered a suspected ruptured pec in his team's win over Souths and faces an extended period on the sideline.

A double blow for the Bulldogs with prop Max King facing an extended stint on the sidelines with a wrist injury and second-rower Jaeman Salmon suffering a displaced jaw fracture in Round 18 and looking at six weeks out.
