Harvey Norman Women in League Round celebrates the women playing crucial roles at every level of the Rugby League community, from executives like Tain Drinkwater, to head coaches like Tahnee Norris, and on field talent like Millie Elliott, and Belinda Sharpe inspiring the next generation on our fields and screens each week. We believe every young girl should know that there’s a role for them in Rugby League.

This year during Women in League Round, NRL and Harvey Norman are launching several new initiatives as well partnering with Ovarian Cancer Australia to get vocal for progress against ovarian cancer. Find out about our internship, executive mentorship program and how to support Ovarian Cancer Australia below.

Women in League Executive Mentorship Program

The Women in League mentoring program will see future female leaders at each NRL Club, state league and the NRL participate in a six-month program pairing them with a female executive mentor.

Two young females with career aspirations in sports administration will have the opportunity for on-the-job training with the NRL and Harvey Norman in a 12-month internship within both organisations. Applications open on Tuesday 30 July.
