A Papua New Guinea representative at the 2021 Women’s Rugby League World Cup, Long made her NRLW debut with the Cowboys in 2023, starting in eight games in the centres or second row.
One of the best defensive centres in the BMD Premiership in 2024, Long missed only seven tackles in eight games for the Cutters on the way to their 2024 Premiership.
