Haizyn Mellars, born in Auckland, New Zealand, is a promising talent in the Rabbitohs' squad. Standing tall at 193cm, Mellars’ large frame and confidence under the high ball make him a real prospect. A product of the Gladstone Valleys Diehards, he transitioned from his junior career to the Rabbitohs' South-East Queensland Elite Player Development program in 2023.
