One of the Roosters’ favourite sons, Jake Friend played 264 games for the Tricolours between 2008 and 2021, savouring three Premierships with the club (2013, 2018, 2019).
A two-time winner of the Jack Gibson Medal as the Roosters’ Best and Fairest, Friend was a combative hooker who got through a power of work in defence and also crossed for 27 tries during his career.
Friend made his State of Origin debut for Queensland in 2020, playing a key role in the 3-0 series win over NSW.
He played one Test for Australia, coming off the bench in a 54-12 win over Scotland during the 2016 Four Nations tournament.
