Boyd Cordner called time on his illustrious career in 2021 with his place in Roosters history assured as a three-time premiership player, two of those as co-captain alongside Jake Friend.

He played lock in the 2013 Grand Final win over Manly and second row in the 2018 and 2019 deciders, when the Roosters beat Melbourne and Canberra to emulate the club’s legendary 1974-75 side with back-to-back Premierships.
Cordner played 20 Tests for Australia and was part of the 2017 World Cup winning side. He also played 16 State of Origin games for NSW between 2013-20, captaining the Blues to series wins in 2018 and 2019.
