Dolphins centre Herbie Farnworth and Wests Tigers second-rower Kai Pearce-Paul are the first English players to make the RLWC2026 Team of the Week.

The England internationals joined Storm and Samoa sensation Sua Fa'alogo and Papua New Guinea international Alex Johnston - the greatest try scorer in premiership history - among the 10 new faces in the Team of the Week.

Each week players are nominated after their performances in the NRL and Super League for fans to vote on their RLWC2026 Team of the Week, drawn from players in contention for Rugby League World Cup 2026.

The RLWC2026 Team of the Week will be announced each Wednesday.

More than 40,000 votes were received for players nominated for the latest Team of the Week, which comprised of four players in each position across the 10 World Cup nations.

The RLWC2026 Team of the Week includes players representing six nations - Australia, England, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa and Tonga.

Storm hooker Harry Grant, the 2025 IRL Golden Boot winner and Rabbitohs pair Cameron Murray and Latrell Mitchell are the only survivors from the inaugural RLWC2026 Team of the Week.

Australia has the highest representation with Grant at hooker, Mitchell in the centres, Murray at lock, Penrith and Kangaroos halfback Nathan Cleary, Roosters winger Mark Nawaqanitawase and unheralded Warriors playmaker Tanah Boyd and prop Jackson Ford all making the side.

Ford, who is from Gerringong on the NSW South Coast, has been a revelation for the Warriors this season in the frontrow alongside Kiwis captain James Fisher-Harris and leads Dally M voting after the opening two rounds.

Nawaqanitawase, who is also eligible for Fiji, edged out Warriors winger Roger Tuivasa-Sheck on a countback after the pair each polled 11 per cent of the vote.

Johnston received a remarkable 59% of the votes to cap an incredible week for the Rabbitohs and Kumuls star, who now has a statue in his honour after crossing for his 213th try last Friday night to break Ken Irvine's 53-year record.

Farnworth was the other centre chosen alongside Mitchell after the Dolphins' comeback to beat the Titans last Sunday, while Pearce-Paul and Tonga's Leka Halasima - one of three Warriors in the side - are the secondrowers.

For the second consecutive week. Grant polled the greatest share of votes, with 68 per cent of votes for hooker going to the Storm captain after his performance against the Dragons.

Fa'alogo, who polled 55 per cent of votes for fullback, and Tonga prop Stefano Utoikamanu were other Storm players in the RLWC2026 Team of the Week.
