Joe Chan has been named at centre for the time being but Jack Howarth (groin) is listed among the reserves and could be called up closer to game day. Captain Harry Grant is back from suspension so Bronson Garlick goes back to the bench. Blues prop Stefano Utoikamanu returns after being rested in Round 27 so Tui Kamikamica reverts to the bench to fill the hole left by Nelson Asofa-Solomona (suspended).

Bulldogs: A reshuffled backline sees Enari Tuala shift to centre and Blake Wilson and Jethro Rinakama claim the wing spots with Marcelo Montoya (ankle) and Bronson Xerri (concussion) sidelined. Star centre Jacob Kiraz has been named on the extended bench as he looks to return from an ankle injury suffered in Round 26 against the Panthers.

Veteran prop Josh Papalii has been named to play despite suffering an ankle injury at training last Friday. Englishman Matty Nicholson is listed as 18th man having made a successful return through NSW Cup from a syndesmosis injury and fractured fibula suffered in May.

Broncos: Skipper Adam Reynolds (hamstring) remains sidelined so Ben Hunt and Billy Walters again call the shots in the halves. Centre Gehamat Shibasaki has been recalled after he was stood down last week for breaching team standards so Deine Mariner goes to the wing and Jesse Arthars drops to 18th man. Back-rower Jack Gosiewski is listed among the reserves as he looks to return from a collarbone injury.
