An absolute blockbuster at Accor Stadium to bring down the curtain on Round 14 with the high-flying Bulldogs proving too strong for old rivals the Eels.
The Bulldogs entered the round in first place but had briefly lost top spot to the Raiders before making another statement in front of a monster crowd of 59.878 at Accor Stadium.
Much of the attention focused on the Dogs' star recruit Lachlan Galvin, who entered the game in the 57th minute and came up with a try in the closing stages.
"To come out here in front of all the home fans and get a win like that, it's quite amazing," Galvin told Fox League post-match.
"Very happy to be a part of it and just to get the win with all the boys who've been so good to me the past week was special.
"I just want to play footy and I was smiling and enjoying it out there. The boys have been so supportive and got behind me."
