Our Saturday triple treat takes us from Titans territory to Townsville and down to Sydney's northern beaches as a host of players back up from the Origin opener to try and help their teams grab two competition points.
The Titans did their best to unsettle the Storm with Tino Fa'asuamaleaui leading the way in trying conditions but Craig Bellamy's men had too much class, winning 28-16.
The Cowboys welcomed Wests Tigers to Queensland Bank Country Stadium for Saturday's second game and were keen to make a statement in front of the North Queensland faithful after two wins, two losses and a draw at home so far this season.
They got the win but only after surviving one of the biggest comebacks in premiership history after Wests Tigers scored four tries in 14 minutes before falling just short of victory, with the Cowboys winning 32-28.
Third up on Saturday's menu was the clash of two sides who were considered leading premiership contenders at the start of the season but find themselves eighth and ninth at the halfway point.
The Sea Eagles have now won six games and desperately need to find some consistency if they are to figure in finals calculations come September, while the Broncos have lost six of their last seven matches.
