Bulldogs: With skipper Stephen Crichton, prop Max King and lock Kurt Mann on Origin duty and Jacob Kiraz (calf) and Daniel Suluka-Fifita (concussion) also missing, the ladder leaders will field a new-look outfit on Thursday night. Josh Curran returns from suspension to slot into the front row while Lipoi Hopoi is the other prop. Blake Wilson comes in on the wing, Bailey Hayward starts at lock and Blake Taaffe lines up at centre for his run-on appearance of the season. Jake Turpin and Sam Hughes are the new faces on the bench in their first NRL games for 2025.

Dolphins: Jake Averillo will wear the No.1 jersey with Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow on Maroons duty and Max Feagai comes into the centres for his debut game as a Dolphin. The loss of Tom Gilbert to a pectoral injury sees Connelly Lemuelu promoted to the starting side and Oryn Keeley added to the bench. Kulikefu Finefeuiaki has been selected for Queensland's extended squad but is expected to play on Thursday. Sean O'Sullivan is again listed as 18th man.

Eels: With Mitch Moses and Zac Lomax in Blues camp, a backline reshuffle sees Dean Hawkins come in for his fifth NRL game of the season at halfback while Sean Russell moves to the wing and Jordan Samrani starts in the centres. Back-rower Kelma Tuilagi's return from suspension pushes Luca Moretti to the bench. Matt Doorey also gets a spot on the bench after dropping back to NSW Cup in a late shuffle last week.

Sea Eagles: Jake Arthur will steer the ship in the absence of Maroons captain Daly Cherry-Evans while Jazz Tevaga shifts to lock in place of Jake Trbojevic (concussion). Jake Simpkin starts at hooker after coming off the bench last week. Veteran prop Matt Lodge has been named on the interchange for his first NRL game since last year's semi-final. NSW Blues squad member Haumole Olakau'atu will be released to play for the Sea Eagles. Lachlan Croker makes his return from a knee injury on the bench. Tom Trbojevic will captain the side.

Panthers: Brad Schneider has been promoted to start at halfback in Nathan Cleary's absence while Daine Laurie is the new fullback with Dylan Edwards also in Blues camp. Thomas Jenkins replaces Brian To'o on the wing while Casey McLean comes into the centres and Luke Garner moves to the back row to replace Liam Martin. Captain Isaah Yeo will lead the Blues in Origin One so Lindsay Smith goes to lock and Matt Eisenhuth starts at prop. Three new faces on the bench in Luke Sommerton, Preston Riki and Jack Cole.

Knights: Dynamic five-eighth Fletcher Sharpe has been shifted to fullback in the absence of Kalyn Ponga on Origin duty. Tyson Gamble moves to five-eighth and Jack Cogger is the new halfback. Kyle McCarthy comes into the centres for his second NRL game so Dylan Lucas returns to the back row and Thomas Cant goes to the bench. Leo Thompson is back from a head knock, taking over at prop from Jacob Saifiti (calf). Jack Hetherington has dropped to 18th man.

Roosters: With five players on Origin duty the Roosters bring Dom Young, Makahesi Makatoa, Salesi Foketi, Benaiah Ioelu and Taylor Losalu into the 17. Young will play his first game since Round 7 on the wing and Mark Nawaqaniqawase moves into the centres to replace Maroons debutant Robert Toia. Back-rower Nat Butcher returns after three games out with a knee injury and Ioelu makes his NRL debut off the bench. Ethan King is 18th man and the Rodwell brothers, Toby and Thomas, are part of the extended squad.  

Sharks: Jesse Ramien has been named despite sustaining an eye injury against the Storm but winger Sam Stonestreet is facing 6-8 weeks out with a high-grade syndesmosis injury. Mawene Hiroti comes back into the side for his first game since Round 8 having recovered from a knee injury. Back-rower Teig Wilton is pushing for a return from a shoulder injury and is part of the extended squad but Tom Hazelton remains sidelined with a sternum problem.

Warriors: Two changes to the side that beat the Dolphins with Bunty Afoa returning from a knee injury and Jackson Ford back from concussion to fill the holes in the front row left by James Fisher-Harris (suspension) and Mitch Barnett (NSW Origin). Centre Ali Leiataua is listed among the reserves as he looks to return from an ankle injury suffered in Round 8.
