The last three games before the Origin teams are chosen have provided plenty of food for thought for new Blues coach Laurie Daley and his Maroons counterpart Billy Slater.

The Broncos and Dragons have turned on some epic contests at Suncorp Stadium over the years and they did it again with a nine-try thriller that ended with the Red V prevailing 30-26 in front of 38,016 fans.

The Dragons now head into a bye with their confidence restored after scoring one of the team tries of the season and taking down one of the NRL's heavyweights.

The Raiders then buried the demons of last week's fadeout against the Bulldogs with a second-half onslaught to defeat the Gold Coast Titans in wet and windy conditions.

Three tries in 11 minutes after half-time allowed Ricky Stuart's men to kick clear and they ultimately ran out 40-24 winners.

The Raiders will now travel to Auckland to take on the Warriors in Round 12, while Gold Coast have the week off.

The Rabbitohs have closed out an epic weekend of football with a hard-fought 22-12 victory over the Wests Tigers.

South Sydney were holding on to a 16-12 lead when Campbell Graham produced a try-saving tackle on Lachlan Galvin with less than four minutes remaining to save the contest for his side.

Wests Tigers v Rabbitohs – Round 11, 2025

Fullback Latrell Mitchell was in the thick of the action, with five-eighth Jayden Sullivan superb in both attack and defence. Prop Keaon Koloamatangi dominated up front, running for a mammoth 329 metres, with 140 post-contact metres and 51 tackles in 80 minutes.

Terrell May did no harm to his Origin chances, running for 199m with six tackle breaks and making 63 tackles in a lung-busting 80-minute performance. Wests Tigers 12 - Rabbitohs 22

77th minute: The Rabbitohs could only hold on for too long and Lachlan Galvin has scored the equaliser for the Tigers. Or has he?

A closer look at replays suggests Campbell Graham may have knocked the ball free before the five-eighth grounded it in a desperate try-saving tackle and the Bunker agrees. With less than four minutes to go and the heavy rain falling at Campbelltown, the visitors keep their noses in front. Wests Tigers 12 - Rabbitohs 16.

75th minute: The Tigers are coming. South Sydney are still down a man and they're scrambling desperately to hold on to a slender lead. Alex Johnston was unable to collect a grubber, handing the hosts a fresh attacking set of six. Wests Tigers 12 - Rabbitoh 16

Apisai Koroisau 2nd Try

68th minute: Api Koroisau has broken through the line again, this time latching on to a Terrell May offload before he was eventually dragged down 10 metres short of the line. Tallis Duncan disrupted the play the ball and was sent to the sin bin, with Koroisau making the most of the infringement to score a couple of plays later and put his team back into the contest. Wests Tigers 12 - Rabbitohs 16.

Alex Johnston Try

62nd minute: Alex Johnston is one step closer to the NRL's try-scoring record, crossing for his 197th four-pointer to push his side's lead out to double digits. A quick play the ball on the back of a Keaon Koloamatangi charge saw Jamie Humphreys attack the short side before Isaiah Tass sent Johnston over in the corner.

It's a double dose of bad news for the Tigers, with Samuela Fainu ruled out for the rest of the match with a right knee injury.

Meanwhile, for those on Terrell May Origin watch, in 62 minutes, the prop has 15 carries for 143 metres, two tackle breaks and 50 tackles without a miss. Wests Tigers 6 - Rabbitohs 16.

53rd minute: The Tigers have made wise use of their captain's challenge, wiping an 80-metre Latrell Mitchell break off the board due to an earlier knock on. The ruling provided the hosts with a fresh attacking set of six, with a penalty on the final tackle ensuring the pressure continued to mount.

The Rabbitohs are scrambling desperately, Jamie Humphreys making a try-saving tackle on Alex Seyfarth before a charging Terrell May was held up over the line. Mitchell then pounced on a grubber to secure possession as heavy rain starts to fall. Wests Tigers 6 - Rabbitohs 12.

49th minute: The hosts have picked up where they left off after the break and dominated the opening exchanges of the second half. Execution, however, continues to let them down and they've so far been unable to break through.

There is also concern for edge forward Samuela Fainu, who has picked up a knee injury. The youngster initially attempted to play through the pain but has now been replaced by Tony Sukkar. Wests Tigers 6 - Rabbitohs 12.

Half-time: The Rabbitohs dominated the first half but it's the Tigers who jog to the sheds in an upbeat mood after hooker Api Koroisau produced a piece of individual brilliance to cut the gap to six. The forward charged through a gap created by an offside defender before taking on Latrell Mitchell and stepping past the South Sydney fullback to complete a stunning 70-metre solo effort.

Apisai Koroisau 1st Try

Wayne Bennett will be disappointed with his side for the late lapse in concentration, while Benji Marshall will look to ensure his side keeps the momentum rolling after the break. Wests Tigers 6 - Rabbitohs 12.

34th minute: The Tigers have generated a handful of attacking chances but execution is letting them down. Lachlan Galvin threw a forward pass a few minutes ago, before a wayward pass brought an attacking set to a sudden halt moments later. The errors have prevented Benji Marhsall's side from building any pressure on their opponents.

Jye Gray has now been injected into the contest for the Rabbitohs and the livewire will look to make an instant impact against tiring defenders in the final minutes of the half. Wests Tigers 0 - Rabbitohs 12.

Euan Aitken Try

25th minute: They took the scenic route, but the Rabbitohs have eventually scored their second try of the night. Jayden Sullivan broke through the defensive line, linked up with Euan Aitken before the play seemingly broke down. The forward, however, did not give up on the play, picked the ball up, beat a couple of defenders and scored his side's second. Wests Tigers 0 - Rabbitohs 12.

A great try saver from Luai

20th minute: The Tigers are playing with the breeze behind their backs and they've been able to use it to generate attacking field position. An Alex Johnston intercept, however, saw the Rabbitoh race away before he was dragged down by Jarome Luai. A quick play the ball followed, with Tigers five-eighth Lachlan Galvin making a tackle from an offside position, resulting in a trip to the sin bin.

The Tigers held firm defensively in the ensuing set of six, however they have another nine minutes to defend with just 12 men. Wests Tigers 0 - Rabbitohs 6

10th minute: The Rabbitohs have controlled the opening 10 minutes of the match with 65% of possession and the pressure eventually proved too great. Siliva Havili was the man to break through, crashing over from short range to secure the first points of the game at a wet, cold and windy Campbelltown Stadium. Wests Tigers 0 - Rabbitohs 6

Late mail: South Sydney coach Wayne Bennett has made one late change on game day, with Tevita Tatola coming into the side and bench forward Sean Keppie dropping back to 18th man. The Wests Tigers will line up 1-17 with Tristan Hope the 18th man.

Xavier Savage 3rd Try

75th minute: We've had some incredible tries already this weekend but the Raiders have just produced one that is up there with the best. Playing from inside their own half, Canberra attacked down the left flank, before Savelio Tamale put the brakes on and threw the ball back inside. Multiple offloads followed until Tom Starling produced a sublime grubber and Xavier Savage reeled the ball in to ground it before it crossed the dead-ball line to complete his first career hat-trick. Raiders 40 - Titans 18.

71st minute: The Raiders have done a good job halting the momentum and have spent much of the past five minutes in attacking territory. They looked to have finally broken through, only to have a try disallowed due to obstruction, but the Titans are running out of time to reel their opponents in. Raiders 34 - Titans 18

The move was executed perfectly, with Matthew Timoko crossing for his second try of the night. Raiders 34 - Titans 12.

Xavier Savage 2nd Try

42nd minute: It's a dream start to the second half for the Raiders, with Canberra rolling 60 metres down the field before Jamal Foagarty puts a towering bomb up in the air. The Titans don't contest it, Xavier Savage says thank you very much, catches the ball, beats a couple of defenders and scores a try to cap a stunning opening set of six. That's not the start Des Hasler was hoping for from his side. Raiders 24 - Titans 12.

Zac Hosking Try

Half-time: The Raiders have plenty to celebrate heading into the sheds, with Zac Hosking completing another long-range effort to put his team up at half-time. Jamal Fogarty shaped to kick before opting to run the ball on the last tackle, putting Kaeo Weekes through a gap and Hosking finished it off to score in the dying minutes of the first half.

The hosts had one last set after the try to kick further clear and attacked down the right flank as the siren sounded. Xavier Savage kicked the ball back in field, however Titans halfback Jayden Campbell won the race to the ball to prevent a try in what could be a crucial moment for the visitors. Raiders 18 - Titans 12.

31st minute: The weather is playing havoc at GIO Stadium, with the Titans appearing to benefit from the windy conditions on this occasion. The Raiders were unable to secure a bomb, providing the visitors with a fresh attacking set of six. Jaimin Jolliffe crashed over but was held up, before Jayden Campbell produced a superb grubber into the in goal. Chris Randall won the race to the ball and looked to have scored the try, only for replays to reveal he failed to ground the ball. Raiders 12 - Titans 6.

A couple of passes later, Savage was soaring through the air to ground the ball out wide as rain starts to fall in Canberra. Raiders 12 - Titans 6

23rd minute: The Raiders have threatened to break through a few times and this time Matthew Timoko finishes off a well-executed set play. Zac Hosking drew the defenders in, before popping the ball out the back, for Timoko to stroll through. Dragons: Round 11

Welcome back: Ezra Mam came up with three try assists, two line breaks, 112 run metres and a try in a slashing performance in his return from suspension. Mam added plenty of spark to the Broncos' attack but they still couldn't get home in the end against a committed Dragons outfit.

Full-time: A special win for the Dragons as they finally get home in a close game on the back of a sensational display from skipper Clint Gutherson, who ran for 232 metres and bagged a double. The Dragons completed 35 of 40 sets at 87 per cent and have now won eight of their past 10 games against the Broncos.

The five-eighth lost his feet but recovered to find Gutherson again in support who linked with Blake Lawrie and the ball went through Jacob Liddle and Jaydn Su'A and Moses Suli who sent the last pass to Tyrell Sloan to score. Dragons 24-20.

66 min: The Broncos go close but Kotoni Staggs is bundled into touch by some desperate Dragons cover.

64 min: Kyle Flanagan puts in a kick and it floats way too long allowing Jesse Arthars to catch it in goal and the Broncos come away with a seven-tackle set.

61 min: Ezra Mam's footwork again puts him into space and he cruises away before finding Kotoni Staggs in support for a try to put Brisbane back in front with Adam Reynolds' conversion. Broncos 20-18.

46 min: A penalty against Billy Walters for a ball strip offers Val Holmes an easy shot at goal. Broncos 12-6.

43 min: Solid defence from Damien Cook and Jack de Belin forces a mistake from Fletcher Baker and the Red V go on the attack.

Half-time: A typically powerful first half from Pat Carrigan laid the foundations for the Broncos. Carrigan played the full 40 minutes and made 111 metres from 11 runs.
