The Dragons are eager to enjoy a winning return to Wollongong when they take on the Warriors on Saturday night.

Shane Flanagan's men toppled the Titans at WIN Stadium in Round 6 but will enter this weekend's game on the back of two-straight losses.

The Dragons have won four of their past six against the Warriors and will need veterans Clint Gutherson and Damien Cook to lead from the front as they look to steady the ship during Women in League Round.

The Warriors have been one of the surprise packets of the season, soaring to third on the ladder behind a physical forward pack and halfback Luke Metcalf's stunning form.

The playmaker has orchestrated the team's entertaining game plan and will look to pick apart the St George Illawarra defence.

While the Warriors have struggled at WIN Stadium over the year, their recent form on the road is impressive. Andrew Webster's side has won three of their past four in Australia, including last week's gripping Magic Round win over the Cowboys.

Team News

Dragons: The Dragons are 1-17 with no late changes. Lyhkan King-Togia retains the No.7 jumper after a solid outing against the Wests Tigers last week. Prop Emre Guler (shoulder) has been replaced on the bench by 19-year-old Loko Pasifiki Tonga, who makes his NRL debut. Raymond Faitala-Mariner is the 18th man.

Warriors: Bunty Afoa comes into the starting side an hour before kick-off and Jackson Ford goes to the bench. Te Maire Martin was added to the bench in Friday's update, with hooker Sam Healey dropping out of the squad. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has also dropped off the extended bench, with the Warriors opting to give the winger another week to recover from a hamstring injury. Star winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak plays his first game of the season after fracturing and dislocating his wrist during the Pre-Season Challenge.
