The Wests Tigers are out to build on last weekend's stirring victory while St George Illawarra are determined to rebound when the two sides face off in a Magic Round showdown.
The two joint ventures have struggled in recent years but there are positive signs at both clubs as they look to rise up the NRL ladder.
Confidence is high at Tiger Town after last Sunday's epic golden-point victory over the Sharks and they're chasing a second-straight win at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night.
St George Illawarra suffered a disappointing loss to the Roosters in their annual ANZAC Day clash and coach Shane Flannagan has called for an immediate response.
The Dragons are still chasing their first Magic Round victory, having lost all four matches played during the rugby league festival. They had the bye last year.
The Wests Tigers have won three from five at the event but fell to the Dolphins 24-12 last season.

Wests Tigers: Winger Charlie Staines is set for his first NRL game of the season after Starford To'a was ruled out of Saturday's clash with a neck injury. To'a's injury will see Brent Naden shift to the centres, with Staines to line up on the wing. Solomona Faataape was initially named in the reserves but drops out of the squad due to personal reasons. Tony Sukkar is the 18th man.
Dragons: Coach Shane Flanagan has turned to young gun Lyhkan King-Togia to wear the No.7 jersey, with Lachlan Ilias dropping back to the reserves. Winger Sione Finau has also dropped out of the squad and will be replaced by Corey Allan who completes a lengthy comeback from an ACL injury. Up front, Hamish Stewart returns from the concussion protocols at lock, with Jack de Belin shifting to the interchange and Blake Lawrie dropping back to the reserves. Rugby 7s recruit Nathan Lawson is the 18th man.
