Parramatta skipper Mitchell Moses is set to play his first game of the season in Monday's showdown against a Wests Tigers side that will be without Lachlan Galvin, who will line up for Western Suburbs in NSW Cup.
The teenage superstar was not selected for this weekend's NRL clash at CommBank Stadium a day after it was announced he would be leaving the club at the end of his current deal.
Galvin has almost two years left to run on the contract that expires at the end of 2026 and the Tigers have stated they will not grant an early release but for this week at least he won't be playing in the top squad. Veteran Adam Doueihi will join Jarome Luai in the halves in his place.
The five-eighth's absence comes as Parramatta welcome back their most influential player. Moses has battled a foot injury to start the year and the Eels have struggled without him.

The halfback's return is a major boost ahead of a bumper round of footy. A number of stars across the league are pushing to complete comebacks over the Easter long weekend, including:
- Cody Walker has been named at halfback for the Rabbitohs showdown with the Bulldogs, with Englishman Lewis Dodd to make his NRL debut off the bench;
- Campbell Graham is also set to make his return on the wing for South Sydney, with Josh Schuster in the extended squad and a chance of making his club debut;
- Matt Burton will return at five-eighth for the Bulldogs, with Viliame Kikau named in the extended squad for the match at Accor Stadium;
- Mark Nawaqanitawase to return in the centres for the Roosters in place of the suspended Billy Smith. Penrith are set to welcome back hooker Mitch Kenny for the clash;
- Jahrome Hughes has been named at halfback for Melbourne despite suffering a shoulder injury last weekend, and;
- Gold Coast skipper Tino Fa'asuamaleaui returns from suspension, alongside winger Jojo Fifita. Canberra welcome back Zac Hosking from a broken hand for the match.
The Wests Tigers clash with the Eels will put a punctuation mark on a weekend of football likely to feature a record-breaking crowd at Accor Stadium for the Good Friday clash between Canterbury and South Sydney.
The Bulldogs have received a major boost with five-eighth Matt Burton in line to return to the undefeated side. Dominant edge forward Viliame Kikau is a chance of completing his comeback from a knee injury but was named in the reserves and could still be another week away.
The Rabbitohs are also welcoming some troops back with Cody Walker listed at halfback in his return from a hamstring injury. Campbell Graham is also on track to line up on the wing as he recovers from a calf injury.

Playmaker Jayden Sullivan will sit out the match through suspension, with Lewis Dodd named to make his NRL debut in jumper No.14.
Walker had a light training day on Tuesday but will line up on Friday if he can complete Thursday's captain's run, with teammate Jai Arrow confident the playmaker will make a major impact on Friday.
"He's like an extra coach and is such a glue for our side," Arrow said. "He just knows our team so well and we definitely missed him against the Cowboys but we're more than comfortable with the players that step into whatever role that may be.
"Cody's been at this club for so long and he's been around the block a few times so he's a handy guy to have in your side."
