The Roosters are returning home full of confidence as they chase a second win over Penrith in the space of five weeks.
The Panthers have not won since their trip to Las Vegas, the Round 2 loss to the Roosters the first of five on the trot and the defending premiers are desperate to snap the losing streak.
Co-captains Nathan Cleary and Isaah Yeo have vowed to draw on years of experience to lift their team out of a slump not seen at the foot of the mountains since 2019.
Cleary requires four points to break Ryan Girdler's club record of 1572 points and end the Penrith legend's 21-year hold of the leading point scorer crown.
The Roosters have been up and down this season but are flying high after an upset win over the Broncos last weekend.
The challenge now is to back it up on their home turf on Saturday night and topple Penrith for a second time this year.
The Round 2 victory was the Roosters first over the Panthers since 2019 and a win this weekend would mark the first time since 2015 they have beaten Penrith twice in one season.
