Cronulla return from their trip west to take on Newcastle at home and will be hoping to secure another two points after stealing a golden point win the last time the two sides met last year.

Back in Round 24 last season, Daniel Atkinson stepped up to slot the match winner in the 84th minute, but it will be a different looking line-up that heads to the Hunter for this weekend's match.

The Knights will be looking to bounce back this round after being outplayed last week by the Tigers, who dominated the match and only allowed the home side to get on the scoreboard in the final minute, with Fletcher Sharpe showing effort to the end to save his side from a complete shutout.

Team News

Knights: A couple of troops return with Tyson Gamble (back) taking over at No.7 and winger James Schiller (concussion) also good to go. Phoenix Crossland moves from halfback to hooker and Jayden Brailey goes to the bench. Tyson Frizell has been named at prop with Tyrone Thompson reverting to the bench. Mat Croker starts at lock after coming off the bench last week. Kyle McCarthy is 18th man.

Sharks: Star prop Addin Fonua-Blake has been cleared to play despite leaving the field with a groin problem in Perth. The Sharks stick with the same squad that got the job done against Manly. Centre Kayal Iro could be another two weeks away with a hamstring injury. No late changes.
