Six new faces have been named in the Harvey Norman Queensland Maroons squad for Game One of this year's Ampol State of Origin series.

Cowboys centre Jasmine Peters, who most recently played in the Indigenous All Stars team, is joined by emerging talents Georgia Hannaway (Sharks), Hayley Maddick (Broncos), Jada Ferguson (Broncos), Rory Owen (Eels) and Tavarna Papalii (Roosters) who have all earned their first call-up to Camp Maroon.

The fresh talents will be led by half Ali Brigginshaw alongside fellow experienced players Tamika Upton, Shenae Ciesiolka, Julia Robinson and current Golden Boot winner Tarryn Aiken.

Stars of last year's winning campaign prop Shannon Mato and back Evania Pelite announced earlier this year that they will miss the upcoming NRLW season and Origin campaign due to pregnancy.

Game I of the 2025 Women’s State of Origin series will be played at Suncorp Stadium on Thursday, May 1 to kick off Magic Round.
