A couple of former Fantasy guns made their presence felt in Round 6, while it was a good week for a handful of popular cheapies as well.

Here we're breaking down the best and the worst from the latest round of NRL Fantasy action.

Round 6 Fantasy winners

One-time Fantasy gun David Fifita propelled himself back to relevancy with a monster performance in Round 6, which led all players and left him just eight shy of triple digits.

Fifita achieved the feat without scoring a try, with a staggering 11 tackle busts giving him a 22-point base which was topped up by an assist, four offloads and 200 run metres.

The $668k EDG was followed by another cut-price standout, with Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow (WFB, $600k) running in three tries to register a 91.

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow 3rd Try

Some familiar faces followed, with Terrell May (83), Isaah Yeo (78) and Jayden Campell (76) continuing their excellent starts to the season.

The now over 20 percent of coaches who jumped on Dragons EDG Dylan Egan are laughing all the way to the bank after he hit 75 against the Titans, while fellow cash cow Jaxon Purdue was brilliant again on his way to 71.

Two for Jaxon Purdue

POD of the Week honours belonged to Sharks MID Thomas Hazleton in Round 6, with the big man - who is owned by 0.6 percent of teams - scoring a try as part of a 67-point showing.

Round 6 Fantasy losers

The good work achieved by Owen Pattie in Round 5 (when he scored 35 points) was undone by a five against the Eels in Darwin, with the well-owned rookie now facing a break even of 23 this week which he is unlikely to meet.

A pec injury ended James Fisher-Harris' day after just 12 minutes, with his eight points coming as a blow to the just under 10 percent who own him.

Cheapie Knights EDG Jermaine McEwen also had an unhappy day, missing three tackles, making an error and conceding a penalty on his way to 10 points.

Panthers WFB Paul Alamoti's trip to the sin bin in the loss to the Dolphins contributed to a season-low 10.
