The Raiders and Sharks kicked off Multicultural Round in style with an absolute nailbiter in the national capital.
Both sides were eager to bounce back after Round 4 losses and they came out all guns blazing in a feast of attacking footy.
In the end it was the Raiders getting home in the last minute with a magnificent team try finished off by centre Seb Kris.

Complete to compete: Both sides came up with high completion rates as the GIO Stadium crowd was treated to an end-to-end thriller. The Raiders went 31 of 26 at 86 per cent and the Sharks were 35 of 40 at 87 per cent.
Full-time: The Raiders go 3-2 on the back of this victory with Savelio Tamale running for 189 metres, Matt Timoko 157 metres, Joe Tapine 160 metres and Corey Horsburgh 153 metres. The Sharks had a number of stars as well in an epic contest with Ronaldo Mulitalo racking up 209 metres, Addin Fonua-Blake 211 metres and Mawene Hiroti 200 metres.

79 min: The Raiders produce a stunning try to hit the lead when Xavier Savage grubbers ahead and Kaeo Weekes gathers the bouncing and flicks the ball to Simi Sasagi who finds Seb Kris to finish the try. The movement began on the left hand side of the field with a great run by Hudson Young who found Ethan Strange in support and the Raiders kept the ball alive to come up with a stunner. Jamal Fogarty converted for a 24-20 lead.
76 min: A mistake by Jamal Fogarty on the halfway line cruels Canberra's chance to mount some pressure and the Sharks go up field and finish their set five metres out.
73 min: Sharks winger Sam Stonestreet is ruled to have knocked on the ball when trying to catch a bomb but the bunker overturns the ruling and the Sharks take possession.
71 min: A high tackle penalty against Simi Sasagi gives Sharks another shot but Seb Kris brings down a kick to avert the danger for the home side.
69 min: Hudson Young returns to the field to make it 13 on 13 and produces a great flick pass to put Savelio Tamale away down the left wing but Nicho Hynes and Will Kennedy converge to force him into touch.
68 min: Sam Stonestreet comes up with a juggling act to defuse a Jamal Fogarty bomb and the Sharks go on the attack but a classic Ethan Strange tackle keeps the Raiders' line intact.
63 min: The Sharks look to cash in on the extra man and throw the ball around but it comes unstuck with a forward pass from Briton Nikora to Sam Stonestreet.
59 min: Another high shot, this time by Joe Tapine, gives Nicho Hynes an easy shot at penalty goal which he bangs over for a 20-18 lead.

Hudson Young sent to the bin
58 min: Raiders back-rower Hudson Young is sent to the sin bin for making contact with Tom Starling's head in a tackle.
54 min: A mistake by Xavier Savage coming out of his own end puts the Raiders under more pressure but the Sharks fail to capitalise when Jesse Ramien tries to tip the ball on to his winger but the ball travels forward.

39 min: Briton Nikora goes to the middle of the field and grubbers for himself, the ball rebounding off Corey Horsburgh before the Sharks back-rower keeps it on the toe and plants it down to complete his double as the sides head to the sheds locked at 18-18.
