A week of upheaval for Manly will culminate at 4 Pines Park on Sunday when they play host to old rivals Parramatta, who are still chasing their first win for 2025.

The announcement from skipper Daly Cherry-Evans that 2025 would be his final year at Manly sent shockwaves through the NRL and it will be intriguing to see how the Brookie faithful respond on Sunday.

The Sea Eagles have made a strong start to the season and have high hopes of breaking a 14-year premiership drought but they will need DCE fully focused and his teammates backing him all the way if they are to snare the big prize.

The Eels know all about title droughts having not tasted glory since 1986 and their form across the first three rounds suggests the wait could go on for another year - but there would be no better way to launch a revival than taking down an old foe on their own patch.
