The Sea Eagles are determined to make a winning return to 4 Pines Park when they host a red-hot Raiders on Sunday night.

Manly suffered a shock loss to the Warriors in Auckland last weekend, with both Daly Cherry-Evans and Tom Trbojevic suffering injuries in the process.

Scans cleared the duo of serious injuries but only DCE will play on Sunday with Turbo being held back for another week.

Manly made 12 errors in last week's defeat and know the Raiders will make them pay if they produce a similar performance in Round 3.

Canberra will travel north full of confidence after a comprehensive victory over the Broncos at GIO Stadium.

The Raiders forward pack dominated the contest and they are out to repeat the dose this weekend.

Canberra will have no fears in playing at 4 Pines Park, the side one of just two teams to beat Manly at the ground last year.

Fullback Xavier Savage is set to make his return from suspension, however captain Joseph Tapine has one more week to serve before he is back on the field.

Team News

Sea Eagles: Fullback Tom Trbojevic (hamstring tightness) was ruled out on Thursday with the club taking a conservative approach to his recovery. Lehi Hopoate will play fullback, with Clayton Faulalo taking his place on the wing. Daly Cherry-Evans (back spasms) is good to go and starts at halfback. Raymond Tuaimalo Vaega is the replacement player.

Raiders: Trey Mooney and Morgan Smithies swap roles an hour out from kick-off in the only change for the Green Machine. That sees Mooney start alongside new recruit Matthew Nicholson, who is in for Zac Hosking (hand). Albert Hopoate is the 18th man.
