A sensational Saturday of NRL action featured a clash of two traditional rivals in Wollongong, a shot at redemption for the Cowboys, and a chance for Ricky's Raiders to go from two from two after hitting the jackpot in Vegas.
Fresh off a tough win over the Dolphins in Round 1, Wayne Bennett's Rabbitohs travelled to WIN Stadium looking to start a season 2-0 for the first time since 2019. And that's exactly what they did thanks to a cooly taken field goal by Jamie Humphreys with four minutes to play.
The Sharks made amends for a close loss to the Panthers in Las Vegas with a big win in Townsville, continuing their dominance of the Cowboys.
In Saturday's third match, GIO Stadium was rocking with 18,884 fans in the house - the biggest crowd since 1999 for Canberra's first home game of the season - and they went home happy after the Raiders blitzed the Broncos.

Blake Lawrie has come into the starting side in his return from a hamstring injury and Toby Couchman goes to the bench. Sloan bagged a double in the Dragons' 34-26 win over Canterbury in NSW Cup last weekend and has 30 tries to his name in 60 NRL games.
