Harvey Norman Australian Jillaroos coach Jess Skinner has named her side for the historic Test match against England on Saturday, March 1 at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas.
“This is an exciting opportunity for the Harvey Norman Jillaroos to play in Las Vegas and reach a new audience. We’re looking forward to elevating women’s rugby league on a world-class stage,” Skinner said.
“We have a strong rivalry with England and a lot has changed since we last faced them in 2017. This high-profile match is a great way to strengthen the national program and help the Jillaroos prepare for the 2026 World Cup.
“The team had an excellent training session before heading over to the USA and we're eager to bring everything together in Vegas for what promises to be an incredible game of women’s rugby league.”
The squad has been trimmed to 18 players one hour out from match-day, with Jess Elliston in the 19 jersey the new replacement player, with Lauren Brown omitted. Earlier in the week, back-rower Olivia Kernick was switched to wear No.11 with Yasmin Clydsdale lining up in the No.12 jersey.
The last meeting between the Jillaroos and England was a 38-0 triumph to Australia at the 2017 World Cup.
