Sea Eagles: Speedsters Tolu Koula and Reuben Garrick are set to get some minutes under their belt but Tom Trbojevic, Daly Cherry-Evans, Haumole Olakau'atu and Luke Brooks are being held back until Round 1. Coach Anthony Seibold is unleashing a strong pack that includes former Warrior Jazz Tevaga, Ethan Bullemor, Siosiua Taukeiaho, Corey Waddell and Nathan Brown with Toafofoa Sipley coming off the bench.

Panthers: With Las Vegas looming large, the Panthers' superstars are under wraps with Soni Luke and Trent Toelau to call the shots in the halves against Manly. Thomas Jenkins and Asu Kepaoa add some NRL experience in the outside backs. Preston Riki, Austin Dias and Harrison Hassett lead the way in the pack while development player Billy Scott gets a shot in the No.9 jersey.

Wests Tigers: Adam Doueihi takes over the No.7 jersey for his first game of the season and will partner Lachlan Galvin, with Jarome Luai being saved for Round 1 along with Api Koroisau. Former Rooster Terrell May makes his first appearance as a Tiger as do Jack Bird and Royce Hunt. Prop Fonua Pole and outside backs Star Toa and Charlie Staines come into the squad.

Eels: Star recruit Zac Lomax makes his Eels debut in the centres while J'maine Hopgood, Ryan Matterson, Luca Moretti, Matt Doorey and Sean Russell also step out for their first game of the season. Ronald Volkman retains the No.7 jersey and is joined in the halves by youngster Apanui Twidle, with Dylan Brown being rested.

Dragons: Coach Shane Flanagan has named the same starting 13 that got the job done against the Roosters, with new recruits Clint Gutherson, Val Holmes, Damien Cook and Lachlan Ilias likely to play more minutes as they build towards the season opener against the Bulldogs. Hooker Jacob Liddle has been added to the bench while speedster Tyrell Sloan is on the interchange.

Rabbitohs: Superstar fullback Latrell Mitchell has been ruled out with a hamstring complaint, with Jye Gray the most likely replacement. Jack Wighton, Tyrone Munro, Tallis Duncan and Jayden Sullivan are all back from All Stars duty to strengthen the line-up. Tongan enforcer Keaon Koloamatangi lines up in the back row for his first game since the Pacific Championships final against Australia. Cody Walker is being held back until the NRL premiership opener against the Dolphins on March 7.

Dolphins: Star forward Tom Gilbert is back for his first game since Round 12 last year having overcome a knee injury while Connelly Lemuelu (shoulder) and Kenny Bromwich (elbow) are also good to go. Indigenous All Stars duo Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Josh Kerr return while Jamayne Isaako, Herbie Farnworth, Isaiya Katoa and Felise Kaufusi are among the big names rolling out for their first game. Kodi Nikorima is back from Māori All Stars camp to partner Katoa in the halves while new recruits Junior Tupou, Daniel Saifiti and Kulikefu Finefeuiaki make their Dolphins debuts. 

Titans: Des Hasler has named the same starting 13 that tackled the Broncos but it's on the bench where the real interest lies with Tino Fa'asuamaleaui, Keano Kini, Jayden Campbell and Alofiana Khan-Pereira all named. Fa'asuamaleaui will captain the side in his first outing since suffering an ACL injury in Round 3 last year while Campbell, Khan-Pereira, Kini and Brian Kelly were all part of the All Stars showcase in Sydney.

Roosters: Skipper James Tedesco headlines a host of big-name stars set for their first run of the season, with Daniel Tupou, Lindsay Collins, Connor Watson, Angus Crichton, Nat Butcher and Victor Radley also stepping out. Mark Nawaqanitawase and Robert Toia again line up in the centres while prop Naufahu Whyte will look to build on an impressive showing against the Dragons.

Knights: Victorious Māori All Stars trio Kalyn Ponga, Dane Gagai and Leo Thompson are back on deck along with Indigenous All Stars rep Dylan Lucas. Gun centre Bradman Best launches his 2025 campaign while Fletcher Sharpe is again the No.6 and will this week be partnered by Tyson Gamble.
