The 2025 Witzer Pre-Season Challenge continued on Sunday with the Broncos, Bulldogs and Dragons getting off the mark with solid victories.
The Broncos took out the Pre-Season Challenge title in 2024 and kicked off their defence with a barrage of tries in a 50-12 victory over the Titans in Toowoomba.
Wests Tigers fans will have to wait at least another week to see their star recruits Jarome Luai and Sunia Turuva in action but they had Lachlan Galvin controlling proceedings against the Bulldogs, who came from behind to register a 20-14 win.
Arch-rivals the Dragons and Roosters finished off a huge day of footy with an entertaining clash at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.
New recruits Clint Gutherson, Damien Cook and Val Holmes blew out the cobwebs and Kyle Flanagan had some nice touches in a 26-8 win.
The Witzer Pre-Season Challenge ladder after two rounds shows the Warriors on top with 21 points after a win and a draw. The Sharks are second on 20 points while the Broncos picked up the full 15 points in their win over the Titans to sit third on the ladder.

Full-time: A solid hit-out for the new-look Dragons with Clint Gutherson, Val Holmes and Damien Cook getting some quality minutes in the 18-point win. The Roosters were led up front by Naufahu Whyte (12 runs for 116 metres) while Robert Toia also impressed in the centres.

53 min: Slick hands on the right edge finishes with Tyreece Tait crossing in the corner. Mark Nawaqanitawase and Robert Toia featured heavily to set the prolific tryscorer Tait on his way. Dragons 18-8.
