Hunt's return to the Broncos was announced in November, with the former Dragons skipper set to partner Adam Reynolds in the halves to start the season, before taking on hooking duties as he has done to great effect in the representative arena.
Elsewhere, the Broncos will be looking for their forwards to remain fit and injury-free, with their engine room taking a hit to their depth for much of the 2024 season.
Despite undergoing recent surgery, Payne Haas is expected to be back to full fitness by Round 1 and will be ready to lead after an injury-interrupted 2024 season, while the club's young guns are keen to make the most of their opportunities, with the battle for the hooking role and places on the bench set to provide the biggest intrigue over the pre-season.
Maguire has many options open for the No.9, with incumbent Billy Walters facing a challenge for the role with Tyson Smoothy and forgotten man Cory Paix are also looking to make the 17 for Round 1. Young gun Blake Mozer has been ruled out of the start of the season with a shoulder injury.
In the backline, Maguire has spoken about his preference to return representative back Selwyn Cobbo to the wing after he spent time in the centres in 2024.
