Wests Tigers have been dealt a triple blow with three players ruled out of this weekend's Magic Round clash with the Roosters.

Winger Claudia Nielsen has been ruled out for the season after injuring her ankle in a hip-drop tackle against the Sharks, while prop Christian Pio had to be helped from the field with 10 minutes remaining in the loss to the Sharks with a leg injury.

Centre Terina Te Tamaki also lasted just 24 minutes before suffering a shoulder injury. A timeline for Pio and Te Tamaki's return is to be confirmed.

In positive news, Chelsea Savill is set to make her return from a quad injury via the interchange.

The Roosters have received a major boost with Golden Boot winner Tarryn Aiken named to make her return from a shoulder injury suffered during the Origin series. Tavarna Papalii is also a chance of returning from a fractured jaw and has been named in the extended squad.

Rookie fullback Logan Fletcher has entered the NRL’s mandatory concussion protocol after failing a Head Injury Assessment during last weekend's Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership match. As an 18-year-old, she will observe the minimum 19-day stand-down period under the NRL’s concussion policy.

Parramatta are also welcoming back a big name, with Kennedy Cherrington named on the bench for her side's clash with St George Illawarra in her comeback from a knee injury. Tyla Amiatu was listed in the reserves and is an outside chance of returning from a hamstring injury.

The Dragons will be without Kasey Reh after she was placed in the head knock protocol, while Indie Bostock will miss a second-straight game with a finger injury.

Cronulla have also lost two players to head knocks, with Brooke Anderson and Stephanie Faulkner to sit out this weekend's game against Brisbane.

Jacinta Carter will return from a concussion, while Georgia Hannaway has been named to start at five-eighth despite leaving last week's win over the Tigers with an ankle injury.

Back-rower Rhiannon Byers remains sidelined with a pectoral injury but the Sharks are hopeful she could retain by the end of the season. The forward was a late withdrawal from the Round 4 clash after suffering the injury.

Brisbane are set to welcome back Shalom Sauaso from a sternum injury for the clash.

The Warriors have lost prop Matekino Gray to a head knock, however Emily Curtain (hip) and Felila Kia (calf) are back on deck.

Canberra co-captain Zahara Temara is on track to return from a hamstring injury.

Broncos forward Tara McGrath-West is set for a stint on the sidelines after suffering a foot injury against the Roosters in Round 3.

The Tigers welcomed back Jessikah Reeves from a head knock in last week's clash with the Sharks.

Titans duo Destiny Mino-Sinapati (syndesmosis) and hooker Brittany Breayley-Nati (collarbone) remain on the sidelines.

The Raiders have lost utility Ua Ravu for the remainder of the season after she ruptured her ACL.

The PNG international, who made her NRLW debut in 2023 with the Raiders, has undergone surgery.

“It’s not good to lose a player at the start of the season and Ua is an integral part of our team. To lose someone of that calibre, it affects everyone," said Raiders coach Darrin Borthwick.

“It’s a big loss and we just wish Ua the best in her recovery and look forward to having her back as soon as we can.”
