Roosters forward Olivia Kernick has become the second Rooster in three years to take home the coveted NRLW Dally M Medal.
Kernick finished the season with 22 points to beat Gold Coast's Lauren Brown on 20 and Abbi Church on 19.
The 23-year-old follows in the footsteps of Raecene McGregor, who won the Dally M in 2022 while playing for the Roosters.
Kernick will now set her sights on an NRLW premiership when the Roosters take on the Sharks in Sunday's decider.
The emerging forward was shocked to be named the Dally M medal winner and praised those around her for helping her develop as a player.
"I didn't expect this this year," Kernick said. "I'm a bit caught off guard. This year with the Women's NRL, we've produced a really good product and taken the competition to another level so I'm grateful to be part of it.
"It helps having a great captain like Isabelle Kelly, she leads from the front and hats off to our staff. Our coach John Strange has done an excellent job over the last few years.
"He's helped me as a player and made me the player I am today. I'm grateful for him and the club as well as the girls who have pushed me every training session and made me a better player."
