As the business end of the Bundy Mixer season dawns on us, we're looking over the very best team you could have put together so far in 2024 based on total points.
While a few familiar faces are back at the top of the charts, the team features a couple of breakout players who have gone to another level this season as well.

Bundy Mixer Team of the Year so far
WFB: Jakiya Whitfeld
As a general rule a move from the wing to the centres tends to be bad news in terms of a player's ability to rack up big metrics, but in Whitfeld's case it's elevated her from a good Mixer player to a great one.

A machine on the ball who is averaging a competition-high seven tackle breaks per game, Whitfeld is benefitting from being part of a Cowboys side who utilise her as a key attacking weapon on backline movements.
Despite being the top scoring WFB by total points, and third best by average, Whitfeld remains a point of difference option who sits in under eight percent of teams ahead of Game Week 9.
CTR: Isabelle Kelly
A traditional big gun in Mixer who has always been among the best scoring options at CTR, Kelly has been magnificent this year as part of a high-flying Roosters side.
Whether in the halves, where she started 2024, or in her more familiar centre role, Kelly has been a reliable score with a very high ceiling, headlined by her 92 and 103 in Game Weeks 4 and 7 respectively.

Her running numbers have been off the charts so far, averaging 214 metres per game, and it means she doesn't need to get over for tries in order to register elite scores.
HLF: Jahrome Hughes
Few could have predicted at the start of this season that Hughes would end up on this list as Mixer's top HLF.
Yes, the injury to Nathan Cleary has improved the Kiwi Test star's stocks, but with a 62-point average through the eight Game Weeks so far, Hughes has well and truly played his part.
The Melbourne No.7 has continued to score at an elite level even with Cameron Munster – who has traditionally been the more dominant ball handler at the Storm – and in his past three games he has been outstanding, averaging 81.3 per game to become a huge Boost target.
EDG: Olivia Kernick
The breakout Mixer star of the season so far, Kernick has increased her points per game output by 13 to average 55 in 2024 and in eight games has already easily eclipsed the total she achieved in 10 appearances last year.
The major uptick has been in Kernick's work on the ball and to date she's averaging 69 run metres more than she did in 2023.
Briton Nikora is the only other EDG who is averaging above 50 in Mixer this season.

MID: Isaah Yeo
It's an absolutely stacked position in Mixer, with six MIDs occupying spots on the top 20 scoring list right now.
But Yeo stands on his own and has been a class above and is the only player to have played all eight games of the Mixer season and maintained an average over 70 points.
With Penrith winning in Finals Week 1 you're only going to get two more games out of Yeo, but you're probably going to want him and maybe even Boost him in both of them at this rate.
HOK: Harry Grant
It was anyone's guess who would end up the top HOK in Mixer this year, with most of the traditional big guns having endured up-and-down seasons statistically prior to Game Week 1.
But since Origin concluded Grant has been outstanding, with his form putting him at the front of his positional group even before last weekend's three-try showing against the Sharks.
Take away Cameron McInnes (51 point average) and there's a big drop off from Grant to the next best HOK, and the way Melbourne are playing he is a good chance of going right through to grand final day.
