NRLW Late Mail Round 8: Raiders welcome back big guns

Plenty of big ins for the Raiders including the return of co-captain Simaima Taufa, while the Titans have been dealt a triple injury blow, including halfback Lauren Brown ruled out for the season.

Broncos v Sharks, Saturday 12noon at Cbus Super Stadium

Broncos: No changes to the Broncos side who came from behind to defeat the Knights last week. Tazmin Rapana has served her one-game suspension, but has not been named amongst the reserves to return.

Sharks: Nakia Davis-Welsh returns to the wing in place of Dominique du Toit, who moves to the reserves, in the only change to Tony Herman's side for their match against the Broncos. Manilita Takapautolo is the new 18th player, with Georgia Hannaway slotting back into the extended reserves.

Titans v Knights, Saturday 1.45pm at Cbus Super Stadium

Titans: Some major changes this week with Lauren Brown out with a broken hand. Lailani Montgomery comes into the halfback role, while there will be a new centre pairing with Jaime Chapman to return from a hamstring niggle and Taliah Fuimaono back from suspension. Niall Williams-Guthrie is out with a lisfranc injury and last week's debutant Sarina Masaga moves to the bench. Lily Kolc comes onto the 17 in place of Matekino Gray who is out with a shoulder injury, with Georgia Sim the new 18th player.

Knights: Only one change to the Newcastle line-up for their trip up to Queensland to face the Titans, with Nita Maynard coming onto the bench with Evie Jones reverting to 18th player.

Roosters v Cowboys, Sunday 12noon at Industree Group Stadium, Gosford

Roosters: With Tarryn Aiken out with a shoulder injury, Jocelyn Kelleher moves to halfback, with Bridie Parker the new five-eighth. Jayme Fressard is back from suspension and slots into the centres, with Mia Wood returning to the wing. The forward pack has also seen a reshuffle with Amber Hall to start in the second row and Eliza Lopamaua moving to the bench. Millie Elliott also returns from suspension via the bench with Samantha Economos named as 18th player, while Mya Hill-Moana is in the extended reserves as she aims to return from a head knock that ruled her out last week.

Cowboys: Lily Peacock returns via the bench after sitting out last week with a head knock in the only change to the 17 who held on against Wests Tigers last week, pushing Shellie Long to the reserves. Co-captain Tallisha Harden is named in the no. 8 jersey with Sareka Mooka moving from the starting side onto the bench. New signing Jazmon Tupou-Witchman has been included in the reserves after joining the club last week. The 20-year-old forward has previously appeared in two NRL games for the Sharks as well as four Tests for Cook Islands.

Raiders: A big reshuffle for the Raiders with some big inclusions. Co-captain Simaima Taufa returns at lock, moving Chante Temara back to hooker and Emma Barnes to the bench. Hollie-Mae Dodd also returns from suspension into the second row. Mackenzie Wiki has been named for her return at centre. Kerehitina Matua will sit out the next few weeks with suspension, with the new bench for this match seeing Felice Quinlan move from the starting side, with Tatiana Finau moving back into the reserves and Relna Wuruki-Hosea the new 18th player.

Eels: Coach Steve Georgallis has named an unchanged side for this week's match against the Raiders in a reward for his side's immense effort against the Titans last week. Powerful prop Elsie Albert played arguably her best game of the season in a two-try effort, while young centre Rory Owen produced a game-turning moment to help the Eels on their way to their 24-14 win.
