Both the Eels and the Titans come into this match following disappointing losses, but both have plenty to play for with the last three rounds of the competition key to their finals chances.

Home side Parramatta will be looking to regroup after leaking 42 points in their loss to the Dragons, with the side unable to stem the flow of tries in a poor second half.

Inconsistency has been the only constant of the Titans so far this year, with big wins followed by costly losses.

The Gold Coast side looked like they were about to make a charge up the ladder after an imposing win over the Roosters, but last week fell to the top-of-the-table Sharks after matching them early to produce a tight opening passage of play.

In a big blow for Parramatta, forward Kennedy Cherrington has been ruled out for the season after suffering an LCL (knee) injury during the Round 6 match against the Dragons. She joins her sister Rueben on the injury list.

Team news

Eels: No changes an hour from kick-off, with Breanna Eales earlier selected as the player to take over from Kennedy Cherrington following confirmation of her season-ending injury. Mia Middleton is the replacement player, with Tafao Asaua omitted from the extended squad.

Titans: Sarina Masaga comes in to start at centre with Jaime Chapman ruled out due to a slight hamstring niggle, while Lailani Montogomery and Ngatokotoru Arakua are new faces on the bench. Sienna Lofipo returns from injury and will pair with Lauren Brown in the halves. Lily-Rose Kolc, who was originally named in the 17, remains in the reserves an hour from kick-off with Georgia Sim omitted.
