The Roosters will be smarting after having their feathers plucked by the Titans last week, going down by their biggest margin all season in their 26-6 loss.
NRLW Sportsbet Betting Preview: Roosters v Raiders
Despite their frustrations boiling over in hot conditions at Cbus Super Stadium, the Roosters did have a number of performers who stood up and tried to make a difference, with second rower Olivia Kernick topping both the metres made with 170 and tackle made with 37 for her side, while halfback Tarryn Aiken did try to chance her hand with some different plays to try and change the momentum, but to varying degrees of success.
For the Raiders, their loss last week to the Cowboys has followed what has been a pattern for them this whole season so far, with plenty of bright patches of good play and some periods of poor play they end up costing them the game.
Canberra started poorly last week to trail 18-6 at half-time, leaving them with too much to do in the second half, despite their best efforts.

Teams news
Roosters: With Jayme Fressard sidelined with a two-match suspension, Taina Naividi - who played lock last week - comes onto the wing. Tiana Davison is the new lock, while Otesa Pule will start at prop for Mya Hill-Moana, who came off late in the loss to the Titans for a HIA. Shannon Rose and Brydie Parker remain in the extended squad after it was trimmed to 19 players on Saturday. The side remains unchanged before kick-off, with Imogen Hei being the 18th person.
Raiders: A number of changes for the Raiders when the squad was trimmed to 19 players on Saturday, with forwards Monalisa Soliola dropping out. Grace Kemp comes in to start, while last week's debutant Felice Quinlan comes into the second-row. Ash Quinlan returns in the halves and Shakiah Tungai on the wing. Sereana Naitoktoka and Kere Matua move onto the bench and are joined by Amelia Pasikala. Centre Cheyelle Robins-Reti has been named, despite suffering a suspected shoulder injury last week. Relna Wuruki-Hosea is out of the side after accepting a one-match ban for a careless high tackle. Georgia Willey remains as 18th player in the last team update.
