Wests Tigers came close to an upset in a committed showing last round, but are still in search of their first win - but will find the going tough against the Broncos side who have hit their straps.

The home side went down to the Eels by two points last week in a game where they had their chances to win, but just could not ice their opportunities with the ball.

The Broncos however have turned around their disappointing start to the season in style, scoring plenty of exciting tries in the past two weeks to secure important wins.

As well as the boost provided by the return from injury of Gayle Broughton and Shenae Ciesiolka, players like Julia Robinson and Mele Hufanga have also clicked into gear, with the pair amongst the top try scorers of the season so far.

Team news

Wests Tigers: No late changes to a new-look side for coach Brett Kimmorley, which means recent signing Montana Clifford comes straight into the starting side in the second row. Tiana-Lee Thorne moves onto the wing and Ebony Prior comes onto the bench in her return from a calf injury. Shaianna McGlone is the replacement player.

Broncos: A shoulder injury to Jasmine Fogavini sees Keilee Joseph move into the lock position, with Brianna Clark slotting into the starting side as prop after serving two-match suspension. The side remains as named on Tuesday, with Skyla Adams the replacement player.
