The absence of a Fantasy favourite from his side for Round 25 has added further issues for those struggling to field two CTRs this week, while there are question marks over the sustainability of a couple of other popular players too.
There's nice cash-down options to watch for at a couple of clubs, while all eyes this week are on the halves as over a third of all Fantasy coaches hunt for a replacement for the injured Nathan Cleary.
Wests Tigers v Sea Eagles, Thursday at Leichhardt Oval
Wests Tigers: After registering an encouraging 47 in his first start at fullback last week Heath Mason (WFB, $230k) is named to go again in the No.1 jersey. He'd be a good cash-down option if not for the Wests Tigers having the bye in Round 26. For the second week in a row there's no spot in the 17 for Reuben Porter.
Sea Eagles: Daly Cherry-Evans (HLF, $774k) is finishing the season strongly and has a last three game average of 63. The Manly skipper could have some real success against this week's opponent too, which makes him a handy Nathan Cleary replacement. Karl Lawton is named to start in the second row, but don't be surprised if it ends up being Ben Trbojevic who has that job come kick-off. The Sea Eagles' backline is very Fantasy relevant right now and led by Tom Trbojevic any of their back five shape as decent pickups.

Warriors v Bulldogs, Friday at Go Media Stadium
Warriors: For the fifth time in his past six games Addin Fonua-Blake was a 60-point player last week and he's a fair shout as a point of difference captaincy option against a Bulldogs pack who are one of the smaller groups in the competition. A 39 from Mitchell Barnett was his worst score sine Round 10, but owners should expect him to bounce right back. With the Warriors having the bye in Round 27, none of their players are trade targets for people playing for overall points.
Bulldogs: Jacob Kiraz has big-score potential again this week after hitting 73 against the Dolphins, with the Warriors' edges being prone to a lapse or two right now. Matt Burton was excellent in Round 24 as well and he's another contender to replace Cleary. Reed Mahoney had a terrible score again last week and if he's playing injured then it's unlikely they'll get better anytime soon. You should have sold him a couple of weeks ago, but if you didn't then move off him this week if you can.

Broncos v Eels, Friday at Suncorp Stadium
Broncos: With no Payne Haas in the side from here Patrick Carrigan should be a 60-point player for the remainder of the regular season and at $707k this week he's underpriced. Tristan Sailor gets a run at fullback but isn't worth bringing in, especially given it's still unclear how much time Reece Walsh will miss with that wrist injury.
Eels: Blaize Talagi was a disaster last week, with nine missed tackles, an error and a penalty conceded seeing him lose 22 points in demerits to score just two all up. Leaving him in your scoring 17 is a scary thought, but that performance was one out of the box for him and logic says he's unlikely to go that poorly again. Kelma Tuilagi (EDG, $492k) went huge with a 65 in his return from injury and is named to start again in the second row.

Raiders v Panthers, Saturday at GIO Stadium
Raiders: Popular rookie Ethan Strange is gone from the 22-man squad, presenting a major blow to coaches who were relying on him as a CTR. That moves has implications for Kaeo Weekes too, but it should be a positive, with the cash cow back in the halves where he's tended to score better than at fullback. For the second week in a row HOK Tom Starling scored just 34, and even more worrying in Round 24 was the fact that he only played 61 minutes, his lowest output since back in Round 15.
Panthers: It's Brad Schneider (HLF, $577k) rather than Jack Cole (HLF. $459k) who replaces Nathan Cleary in the run on side this week, with Cole retained on the bench. Mavrik Geyer, who is owned by a whopping 23.8 percent of teams, keeps a starting role on the back of a 43 last week and is a cash-down candidate for those who don't have him right now, with Scott Sorensen (hamstring) unlikely to be rushed back at this point of the regular season. Isaah Yeo is a good option as captain against the Raiders and he tends to have an even higher ceiling when Cleary isn't on the field, with more potential for dynamic attacking stats as he steps in to handle the ball even more.

Storm v Dolphins, Saturday at AAMI Park
Storm: Tyran Wishart, who surprisingly still sits in over 12 percent of teams, is named on the wing after being a try-scoring bench player last week who had 34 in Fantasy. If you're looking for a point of difference captain then you could do worse than Jahrome Hughes, who comes off a 60 last week and is playing a Dolphins side that halfbacks have tended to score well against in 2024. Eliesa Katoa went big against a favourable edge match-up v the Panthers in Round 24
Dolphins: Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow scored over 30 for the first time in four weeks in Round 24, but he's not a WFB who can be trusted right now, especially against a team like the Storm. Max Plath has well and truly returned to form now and is a set and forget option at either HLF or MID. Both Dolphins centres, Jake Averillo and Herbie Farnworth, are decent prospects again.

Rabbitohs v Knights, Saturday at Accor Stadium
Rabbitohs: Cameron Murray went huge in his return to lock last week with an 83-point effort, and at $698k he is a very cheap elite MID option. A try helped Keaon Koloamatangi to 73 in Round 24 and despite his move to the edge he looks like being a serviceable keeper for the remainder of the year. Damien Cook is by far the form HOK in Fantasy right now, with a L3 average of 68.3. After a 55 last week Tallis Duncan is named to start in the second row again.
Knights: After showing signs of a return to top Fantasy form with a 64 in Round 23, Kalyn Ponga crashed back to earth with a 36 and he's now a long way off being considered an elite WFB. The return of Dylan Lucas from a hamstring injury pushes Kyle McCarthy out of side after he had 48 on debut. Jack Cogger (HLF, $410k) comes into the starting side to replace the injured Tyson Gamble at five-eighth.

Titans v Roosters, Sunday at Cbus Super Stadium
Titans: A monster 344-metre game from Keano Kini, his second >300 effort of the season, propelled the $644k WFB to a 57 last week which was bettered only by Jayden Campbell's 61 among Titans in Round 24. CTR-eligible forward Beau Fermor, who has a L3 average of 62.3, returns to the starting lineup after time out with a kidney concern.
Roosters: A 69-point haul last week means James Tedesco now has 60+ scores in 11 of his 19 appearances in 2024. That alone should mean he features in the captaincy thought process for owners ahead of facing the Titans. Connor Watson is out under concussion protocols, so Nat Butcher starts at lock. It's now been three weeks since EDG Angus Crichton managed a score of 50 or above.

Dragons v Sharks, Sunday at WIN Stadium
Dragons: With no Kyle Flanagan to share the ball with Ben Hunt had a season-high 692 metres last week and looks likely to be a 60+ player from here thanks to the increased stats, although it's worth remembering that his last-up 70 did include a try. Jacob Liddle continued his excellent run of form with a 68, while Zac Lomax (61) had a day out as well.
Sharks: Kayal Iro is named to return after missing last week due to illness and leaving plenty of teams without a CTR for Round 24. Expect Daniel Atkinson's scores to drop off a little due to the return of Braydon Trindall, but he has shown earlier in the year that he is still capable of hitting 40s with him as his halves partner. Cameron McInnes is on fire right now and his owners will be hoping his minutes remain high now that the Cronulla pack is likely to return to its regular rotation.
