Rabbitohs v Knights: Walker sidelined; Gamble ruled out

Two sides that fell to to close losses last round will be aiming to put their disappointment behind them and finish their seasons on a high when the Rabbitohs host the Knights.

The Bunnies were outdone by Wests Tigers in a match with plenty of talking points, including losing five-eighth Cody Walker to a failed HIA. Walker is out this week, as is centre Richie Kennar, who is set to be banned for a high shot - but will find out his final verdict after his judiciary hearing on Tuesday night.

Tyrone Munro, who has been sideline with a collarbone injury, could be a chance of making his return.

The Knights were felled in golden point by a Daniel Atkinson field goal in their 19-18 loss to the Sharks and will need to regroup and refocus on the Rabbitohs as they still hold hope for playing beyond the regular season.

The side lost Tyson Gamble late in the game with a broken hand with coach Adam O'Brien confirming post-match that the five-eighth would be sidelined for at least one game.

They will be hoping however to get Dylan Lucas back from a hamstring injury, while O'Brien also said Bradman Best was a chance of an early return.
