Brown tops Dally M standings as voting goes silent

Titans playmaker Lauren Brown has the lead in the race for the 2024 Dally M Medal as voting goes behind closed doors for the remainder of the season.

Brown did not poll a vote in Saturday's 11-10 loss to the Cowboys but still has a two-point advantage over Eels fullback Abbi Church, Sharks lock Brooke Anderson and Raiders lock Simaima Taufa.

Among the big movers in Round 4 were Brisbane's Olympic gold medal winner Stacey Waaka, who polled the maximum six votes against Canberra, and Roosters back-rower Olivia Kernick.

Sharks prop Ellie Johnston ran for 151 metres in her side's win over defending premiers Newcastle to pick up four votes, joining Roosters halfback Tarryn Aiken on eight votes.

Last year's Dally M winner Tamika Upton grabbed two votes in Round 4 and sits on five votes with five rounds to play.
