A top tier WFB re-enters the frame for selection this week, just in time to replace Reece Walsh who is out on a bye and questionable beyond that after suffering a fracture in his hand.

There are cash-down options at the Bulldogs and Sharks, while it might be time to bid farewell to a couple of HOKs who were big guns earlier in the season.

Panthers v Storm, Thursday at BlueBet Stadium

Panthers: Outstanding WFB Dylan Edwards has been included in the reserves and could make his return from injury, which would bump Daine Laurie out of the fullback role. James Fisher-Harris is also in the frame to return, but that's unlikely to impact cheapie Mavrik Geyer (EDG, $242k) who is named to start in the second row with Liam Henry while both Liam Martin and Scott Sorensen are out. Nathan Cleary's price may have levelled out for the time being at $934k.

Storm: Eliesa Katoa is back from a week out with a knee injury, with his return moving Trent Loiero from the edge back to lock. Both Katoa and Melbourne's other second-rower Shawn Blore are possible value selections this week given they are each coming up against makeshift edge combinations in the Penrith side. Jahrome Hughes continues to star, with a 58 last week giving him a season average of just under 57 with four rounds to go.

Sea Eagles v Warriors, Friday at 4 Pines Park

Sea Eagles: After last week's 78 Tom Trbojevic is now by far the best available WFB by form, with his last three game average of 66.7 putting him well clear of Jye Gray (56.3 L3 average). Another try in Round 23 helped Lehi Hopoate to a 49 and this week he's a perfectly good scoring player if you need him to be. Karl Lawton (EDG/HOK, $510k) keeps a starting back row spot for another week.

Warriors: Mitchell Barnett and Addin Fonua-Blake remain top five MIDs after hitting 66 and 61 last week respectively, with Barnett still a decent point of difference option given his ownership sits at only 10.27 percent. The return of Shaun Johnson bumps Te Maire Martin out of the 17, with Chanel Harris-Tavita his halves partner after reaching 44 in the last-up golden point loss to the Dolphins.

Roosters v Eels, Friday at Allianz Stadium

Roosters: With four players who sit in at least 13 percent of teams, the return of the Tricolours following a Round 23 bye is huge for Fantasy coaches. Sam Walker (HLF, $622k) has been enjoying a nice run of late and has a L3 average of 54.3. DPP option Connor Watson has really struggled to rediscover his early season form since Origin finished up and he has a L3 average of 40.7.

Eels: Those who jumped on Dylan Brown following Mitchell Moses' injury haven't got what they were hoping for, with the $621k HLF's scoring very up and down and last week's 34 against the Panthers a shocker given how well his team played. Kelma Tuilagi returns from injury on the bench, while Maika Sivo could come into the side and bump Jake Tago out of the backline.

Bulldogs v Dolphins, Saturday at Salter Oval, Bundaberg

Bulldogs: Rookie Harry Hayes (CTR/EDG, $311k) keeps a bench spot even with Jaeman Salmon returning from a broken jaw, and on the back of his 44 in 33 minutes last week he's a possible cash down prospect who is extra valuable thanks to that CTR designation. Reed Mahoney is named to start after being restricted to 57 minutes last week due to a shoulder complaint, but after four-straight weeks scoring under 50 he can't be relied on right now. Salmon's return could mean a slight drop off for a forward or two, depending where he's used.

Dolphins: Max Plath (HLF/MID, $693k) and $698k CTR Herbie Farnworth are both in great form, with L3 averages of 70 and 64 respectively. Farnworth was close to entering the triple digit club last week against the Warriors but finished with 94. Since his stunning 77 against the Panthers in Round 20 – which caused a heap of coaches to trade him in – Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow has been a disaster, with three-straight scores of 30 or under. He's set to lose money again this week too as he faces a break even of 61.

Cowboys v Raiders, Saturday at Queensland Country Bank Stadium

Cowboys: Reece Robson has been on a steady downward spiral since Round 15, which was the last time he registered a score above 50, and if you're relying on him right now then you're in big trouble. Interestingly he's still owned by 9.4 percent of teams, but that's likely to change on the back of last week's 35. North Queensland's most owned player was also their best player last week, with Reuben Cotter coming up with 55 against the Broncos. Chad Townsend is gone from the 17 and replaced by Jake Clifford, but neither is Fantasy relevant.

Raiders: Elliott Whitehead played 80 minutes for the first time in five games last week and had a season-best 74. He's not going to do that in every game from here, but if you think he can keep a full-game role then he's a possible POD at EDG, with just 1.36 percent ownership right now. Tom Starling finally came back to earth last week with a 35, but it was on the back of a horror defensive performance which saw him miss eight tackles, so he's a definite hold. Popular DPP rookie Ethan Strange moves from the halves to the centres and will probably have a bit of a drop off in scoring as a result.

Wests Tigers v Rabbitohs, Saturday at Campbelltown Sports Stadium

Wests Tigers: Lachlan Galvin is showing no signs of slowing down at the end of his rookie season, with a 66 in Round 23 justifying his place in a whopping 25 percent of teams. Api Koroisau continues to be an inconsistent prospect at HOK yet but remains in almost nine percent of teams heading into Round 24.

Rabbitohs: Rookie CTR Fletcher Myers keeps his spot and comes off a score of 51, but anyone thinking about bringing him should first consider that he had to score two tries to get to that mark and otherwise would have been down in the 30s. Keaon Koloamatangi's move back to an edge is bad news for his owners, and while he probably won't go as low as last week's season-worst 26 again, he's unlikely to be an elite scorer from here if he's playing in the second row.

Dragons v Titans, Sunday at WIN Stadium

Dragons: Popular DPP back Zac Lomax's 60 was his best score since Round 14 and from here he and the Dragons face only one top eight team. Jacob Liddle comes off a 75 and has a season average of 50, with selection in under three percent of teams right now. Kyle Flanagan is named ahead of facing the NRL Judiciary on a charge of biting.

Titans: Despite last week's hammering at the hands of the Sharks, David Fifita (24 percent ownership) still managed 54 and ahead of Round 24 he's the second most consistent player in all of Fantasy. Keano Kini's 26 has left him with a break even of 54 and if you have trades up your sleeve then it could be time to trade him out for someone like Tom Trbojevic.

Sharks v Knights, Sunday at PointsBet Stadium

Sharks: Jack Williams, who last week was owned by less than 800 coaches, will be getting some attention over the next few days after his 71 in the drubbing of the Titans. The $481k MID is a good chance of getting decent minutes again, but there were some dynamic stats in that performance which he won't be able to repeat consistently. CTR Kayal Iro was excellent on his way to 63 last week and he still sits in 43 percent of all teams.

Knights: Kalyn Ponga bounced back to form with a 64 in Round 23 which was Newcastle's second best score, with rookie sensation Fletcher Sharpe the top gun with a 75. Tyson Frizell is the Knights' form player right now, with a L3 average of 53.7 and a last-up score of 60.
