The return of Nathan Cleary is huge news ahead of Round 20, but the absence of two of his highly owned Panthers teammates comes as a major blow for coaches.

Cleary isn't the only Fantasy gun slated to make his injury comeback this week, with Jamal Fogarty named to start and Adam Reynolds a chance of taking the field for the Broncos too.

Elsewhere it's a mixed bag in terms of Fantasy-relevant players who will be looking to back up from Game Three of the Origin series on Wednesday night.

NRL Fantasy teams analysis: Round 20

Raiders v Warriors, Friday at GIO Stadium

Raiders: HLF Jamal Fogarty is back from injury and will play for the first time since Round 7. A move to fullback means Kaeo Weekes is unaffected by the veteran's return and Weekes is now either a very handy trade out option who has made $354k, or an acceptable keeper who covers both WFB and HLF for you. Joseph Tapine ($745k) remains a solid point of difference option at MID, with the Kiwi averaging 57.7 across his past three games.

Warriors: News of a season-ending wrist injury for captain Tohu Harris means $499k MID Dylan Walker is set to be a starting lock for the remainder of the year and will likely command at least an hour on the field going forward. It also means in-form MID/EDG Mitch Barnett is unlikely to lose any workload from here, with the $807k big man – who boasts a whopping last three game average of 84.3 – named to start on the back of his Origin debut. Taine Tuaupiki comes in at fullback for the injured Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, but with 'CNK' due back in a week or two he's not worth trading in.

Rabbitohs v Wests Tigers, Saturday at Industree Group Stadium

Rabbitohs: Keaon Koloamatangi now has scores over 60 in each of his past three games and is one of the best forwards around right now due to that form and his DPP status as both an EDG and MID. The lock position is his long term, which also means Cameron Murray might be a stay away, with his move to the edge meaning he's likely to average 50s rather than 60s. Jye Gray (HLF/WFB, $368k) had 49 last week and is a value buy with decent job security while Latrell Mitchell (estimated to return in Round 23) is injured.

Wests Tigers: Api Koroisau has been included in the reserves as he battles to overcome a calf injury, but should he fall short $252k HOK Tallyn Da Silva is set to start with $230k HLF Latu Fainu backing him up. No Wests Tigers player managed over 50 in last week's drubbing at the hands of the Sharks, with John Bateman their best on 49.

Knights v Broncos, Saturday at McDonald Jones Stadium

Knights: Kalyn Ponga is named to back up and should be good to go assuming he plays a limited-minute role off the bench for the Maroons. If you haven't got the dynamic WFB yet then you can afford to wait another week thanks to his break even sitting at 77. Expect a bounce back from Greg Marzhew, who got just 16 last week, now that Ponga is back in the side, while Jayden Brailey owners need to move off after he was again included on the interchange following a score of 26 in Round 19.

Broncos: All four Origin reps are named in the reserves right now, but given the perilous position Brisbane find themselves in with two months to go in the season there's a good chance they all back up for what is close to a must-win game. Skipper Adam Reynolds is also included in the wider squad and could play for the first time since suffering injury back in Round 9. After a slow start, MID/EDG Xavier Willison has turned into a nice cash cow who should jump up above the $500k mark after this weekend, whether he ends up starting or coming off the bench.

Storm v Roosters, Saturday at AAMI Park

Storm: In-form HLF Jahrome Hughes enters Round 20 with a projected scored of 57 and will be a popular captaincy choice, while halves partner Tyran Wishart is in fine touch right now as well, with a last five game average of 60.4. If you don't want to splash the cash on someone like James Tedesco then Ryan Papenhuyzen ($564k) is a cut-price WFB option who has an elite ceiling, although he's unlikely to be quite as consistent as others in that conversation due to his lower level of base stats.

Roosters: On recent form James Tedesco is the second-best player in Fantasy and he shapes as a strong captaincy contender who has averaged 78.7 in his past three games. Connor Watson is named to start at lock and should be good to go if he plays limited minutes again in Origin III, while Angus Crichton and Lindsay Collins are named in the run-on side but are more likely to have their minutes reduced by coach Trent Robinson. Expect another big score from Terrell May after he was named to start up front in the absence of the suspended Jared Waerea-Hargreaves.

Panthers v Dolphins, Sunday at BlueBet Stadium

Panthers: Nathan Cleary is back and in coming weeks will be a huge trade-in target, especially with other elite HLF options like Nicho Hynes and Shaun Johnson sitting on the sidelines. That week is not Round 20 however, with Cleary almost certain to have a significant price drop after taking on the Dolphins as he faces a break even of 96. His return isn't the only big news, with Penrith's most-owned player, Isaah Yeo, left out of the squad on the back of Origin III, along with their second-best scorer, Dylan Edwards. The pair's NSW teammates Brian To'o, Jarome Luai and Liam Martin are listed in the reserves for now.

Dolphins: Tevita Pangai junior had a huge day at the office last week on his way to a 58, with a try and line break included in that score. There's a roadmap to him being a 40-point player for the remainder of the year, which at $467k still makes him good value as a low-tier bench option or loop candidate. Max Plath played the full 80 minutes for the first time this season in Round 19, but his 35 was his lowest score since back in Round 10 and the move to hooker looks like being a negative one for the MID/HLF DPP. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow is named to back up from Origin duty.

Sea Eagles v Titans, Sunday at 4 Pines Park

Sea Eagles: Right now rookie WFB Lehi Hopoate sits in just over four percent of teams, but you can expect that to at least double by the end of the week following his 81-point heroics in Round 19. While he won't reach those heights every week, at $432k he's a player who will be worth a trade in for some coaches. Tom Trbojevic doesn't look like having the ceiling of an elite WFB right now, but at $602k he's a relatively affordable player who should get you high 40s to low 50s most weeks. Daly Cherry-Evans is named to back up from Origin III, while Ben Trbojevic returns from concussion but is set to miss out on a starting spot after being included on the bench.

Titans: Keano Kini owners should contain their excitement after the cash cow sensation was named in the No.1 jersey, with the likely scenario being that coach Des Hasler will bring AJ Brimson into fullback from 18th man before kick-off and put Kini on the bench, as was the case last week. If that happens then Kini is a sell after playing only 28 minutes for a score of 18 in Round 19. $688k WFB Jayden Campbell looks like being an elite player in his position from here and is cheap compared to others in his scoring range right now, with the five-eighth spot seemingly his. As we highlighted on Monday, David Fifita loves playing the Sea Eagles and has a projected score of 66 which makes him an excellent captaincy option.

Cowboys v Bulldogs, Sunday at Queensland Country Bank Stadium

Cowboys: As has become customary for coach Todd Payten's post-Origin team namings, North Queensland's Origin contingent have all been named in the reserves for the time being, but given the long turnaround they should be good chances of playing. We've seen enough of Scott Drinkwater now to know that he's not a reliable WFB option for the run home, so coaches should upgrade him if they can.

Bulldogs: Reed Mahoney is now the top HOK in Fantasy by average score (54.6) but sits way down the ownership charts for that position with just 11.46 percent of coaches having the chirpy Bulldog on their roster right now. Matt Burton (HLF, $705k) has POD potential for the run home and has scored 67 or more in three of his past five games. The arrow is pointing up for Josh Curran following Max King's injury, with the $579k MID/EDG now commanding a starting front row spot and likely to play a big role for Canterbury-Bankstown in coming weeks.
