The Knights are set to roll out a Fantasy big gun this week after a long injury absence, while the Titans also welcome back a player who shapes as a point of difference option for the run home.
As coaches look to make the very most of their remaining salary cap, there's a couple of important decisions to be made around trade-in targets and their break evens ahead of Round 18.
NRL Fantasy teams analysis: Round 18
Eels v Rabbitohs, Thursday at CommBank Stadium
Eels: The 'Carty Party' is on again in 2024! Bryce Cartwright hit 54 in Round 17 and is available this week for just $606k. With Kelma Tuilagi sidelined until Round 22 and the absence of J'maine Hopgood for the rest of the regular season meaning Ryan Matterson is likely to be needed as a middle forward more than an edge, Cartwright has decent job security now too. Brendan Hands played only 52 minutes last week and scored just 21, with Matt Arthur making a serious dent in his scores. Hands hasn't made enough money to justify a trade out, but avoid keeping him in your scoring 17 if you can this week.
Rabbitohs: Damien Cook is the best HOK in the game right now and has the $751k price tag to prove it. If you are desperate to get him into your side then this is the week to do it, with a break even of 33 meaning he's likely to shoot up in price once again after facing the Eels. Latrell Mitchell will likely sit in over 20 percent of all teams by the time Round 18 kicks off.

Sharks v Titans, Friday at C.ex Coffs International Stadium
Sharks: Nicho Hynes is a stay away for another week as he faces a break even of 99, which will almost certainly see him drop substantially in value again after taking on the Titans. Cam Mcinnes ($705k, MID) remains underpriced for what he is and looks a decent point of difference option for the run home, along with in-form EDG Briton Nikora who comes off a 63. Those who have held onto Daniel Atkinson will have another green dot this week after he was included on the wing as replacement for Sione Katoa.
Titans: There are major Fantasy ramifications to come from AJ Brimson's naming at five-eighth this week as he returns from injury. The first is that there's now real mystery surrounding Jayden Campbell's role in this team once he himself gets back on the field in Round 19, with the five-eighth role potentially now taken. It's great news for owners of Keano Kini (WFB, $624k) though, with his status as a cash cow now looking like being upgraded to keeper.

Broncos v Panthers, Friday at Suncorp Stadium
Broncos: Brisbane's Origin trio, who also happen to be their three top scorers in Fantasy, are all back on deck after being rested in Round 17. Kobe Hetherington moves into a starting edge role in the absence of Jack Gosiewski who broke his arm last week, but he won't have the spot long with Jordan Riki back from suspension next week. Personal reasons mean Kotoni Staggs has been left out of the 17 for now but included in the wider reserves. DPP forward Xavier Willison has set his break even back to a manageable 16 thanks to a 59-point haul last week.
Panthers: The Origin stars return, which means Daine Laurie makes way for Dylan Edwards at fullback after scoring 54 against the Cowboys. As Nathan Cleary closes in on a return owners of Jack Cole are enjoying the last of his price rises before he becomes a sell, with a break even of 15 this week meaning he should make another jump.

Bulldogs v Warriors, Saturday at Accor Stadium
Bulldogs: Connor Tracey returns from time out with concussion and is the fullback, which means Jacob Kiraz shifts back to the wing. Only Damien Cook is in better form than Reed Mahoney right now in terms of HOKs, with a 78 in Round 17 lifting his last three game average to 58.3. Matt Burton remains a good point of difference option at HLF and comes off a 70.
Warriors: Mitch Barnett is killing it in Fantasy right now and trails only Payne Haas in terms of MIDs with the best average over their past three games (69 points). If you got him a few weeks ago then you got yourself a bargain and even now at $724k he's an underpriced player who offers cover as both a MID and EDG. He does however have two byes to come. Addin Fonua-Blake's scoring has dropped off the last couple of weeks and he shouldn't be in the captaincy conversation until there's signs of improvement there. Te Maire Martin can't stop setting up tries and is having a nice run of scoring them too, with his last-up score of 51 lifting his last three games average to the mid 40s.

Wests Tigers v Storm, Saturday at Leichhardt Oval
Wests Tigers: John Bateman comes back into the starting line-up after scoring 42 in his injury return off the bench last week, with Samuela Fainu his back row partner. There wasn't much to like about the Wests Tigers' Fantasy prospects last in a heavy defeat to the Roosters in Round 17, but rookie HLF Lachlan Galvin continued to deliver with a 44.
Storm: Ryan Papenhuyzen returns to the line-up after a week out injured, which means it's back to the bench for Melbourne's second most owned player Sua Fa'alogo (7.23 percent ownership). Harry Grant has been rested for the second week in a row by the Storm and could be a sell given he will miss Round 19 (Origin) and potentially Round 20 (if rested). Jahrome Hughes is red hot right now and will likely be among the most popular captaincy picks for Round 18, with his last five game average now sitting at 65.8.

Cowboys v Sea Eagles, Saturday at Queensland Country Bank Stadium
Cowboys: Reece Robson and Reuben Cotter return after being rested last week, but anyone looking to make a move for them or any other Cowboys player should pay close attention to that unfavourable bye schedule first. Scott Drinkwater's inconsistent season on the Fantasy front continued last week with a sin-binning contributing to a score of just 24. Heilum Luki ($521k) is working his way up to being a cut-price keeper at EDG, with a last three game average of 51.
Sea Eagles: Tom Trbojevic is back from injury, but at centre where he is far less appealing from a Fantasy point of view. He's not a definite stay away while he's playing there, but with a break even of 58 this week you can hold off and see how he goes without too much risk of him skyrocketing in price. Tolutau Koula (CTR/WFB, $414k) meanwhile has won the race to be the fullback, which means promising rookie and cash cow Lehi Hopoate goes back to the interchange. Haumole Olakau'atu shapes as a POD EDG for the run home with less than 10 percent of teams currently owning him.

Roosters v Dragons, Sunday at Allianz Stadium
Roosters: The Tricolours have some really good WFB options right now and last week James Tedesco (75), Dom Young (62) and Daniel Tupou (60) all finished among their top four scorers. Such is the way they play, the Roosters' back three will always have a very high ceiling, with lots of chances to rack up dynamic attacking stats. Expect Terrell May's scoring to regress in Round 18 after he scored tries in each of his past two games and played bigger minutes in the absence of other middle forwards.
Dragons: Gun WFB Zac Lomax returns from having the weekend off following Origin II, with his wing partner Christian Tuipulotu a sneaky cut-price WFB option too following a 44 in Round 17. Jacob Liddle is turning into a top tier HOK and now has a run of five-straight games with scores above 50, including two over 65.

Raiders v Knights, Sunday at GIO Stadium
Raiders: Kaeo Weekes is again named at fullback rather than in the halves, which doesn't appear to be great news for the 43 percent of teams who own him. Weekes ended up with 47 last week but it took a long-range try to get there, so it's not a given that he belongs in your scoring 17 this week. Adam Cook had 47 in his first game of the season but is a short-term rental in the halves for the Raiders with Jamal Fogarty a chance of returning as early as Round 20.
Knights: A huge in on the Fantasy front with Kayln Ponga named to play his first game since being injured back in Round 7. It adds another option to the elite WFB pool, but with a break even of 73 in Round 18 you can probably afford to hold off a week before bringing him in. Bradman Best was incredible for owners last week on his way to 109 points, but while his ceiling is ridiculously high (he had 99 against the Wests Tigers earlier in the season too), he also has five scores under 30 in 2024, so it's a hard sell to pay $699k for him right now. A first-up 45 has Will Pryce set to make money again this week, with the No.6 jersey seemingly now his to lose.
