The Bulldogs' stunning 2024 resurgence continued in a nailbiter against the Sharks and they get a chance to knock off another of last year's finalists when they host the Warriors in Round 18.

Already boasting one more win than they managed in all of 2023, Cameon Ciraldo's men have built their season on a new-found defensive resolve, with only the Panthers having conceded less points through 17 rounds.

That willingness to scramble and scrap for everything is sure to be tested by a dangerous Warriors outfit that found its groove to run in six tries in a 32-16 defeat of the Broncos.

With Te Maire Martin and Chanel Harris-Tavita calling the shots in style the Warriors put their embarrassing 60-point mauling from the Titans well and truly in the rear-view mirror, although they still sit three points outside the eight with eight games to play.

The Warriors won both clashes between the sides last year but the Bulldogs are a vastly different proposition in 2024 and have won their past six matches at Accor Stadium.

Team News

Bulldogs: Connor Tracey (concussion protocols) is back in the No.1 jersey so Jacob Kiraz reverts to the wing and Jeral Skelton slides to 18th man. Kurt Mann's return from suspension on the bench pushes Blake Taaffe to the reserves.

Warriors: No changes to the 17 which got the job done against the Broncos, but with a couple of tweaks to the forward pack rotation. Captain Tohu Harris is named to start but could swap with Dylan Walker prior to kick-off as he did last week, while Mitch Barnett is again set to be used at prop with Marata Niukore and Kurt Capewell the back-rowers.
