With plenty of big scores registered in Round 15 it was a week primed for four-digit totals if you got your captaincy choice right.

Ahead of the second of the major bye rounds, we're looking over some of the key numbers in Fantasy and the top performers from the round that was.

NRL Fantasy by the numbers: Round 15

Expectation crushers

In the absence of the injured Nathan Cleary, Jarome Luai has become an absolute weapon in Fantasy and no player right now has a recent form guide that more dramatically exceeds their prior season average.

With a L3 average of 73.7, Luai is the top player by form in the competition, with his rise coming after he averaged only 36.7 through his first 10 games.

Luai continues superb form at halfback

Two scores in the 80s in his past three games has Titans cash cow Keano Kini second on that list, while Dolphins CTR Herbie Farnworth is third.

Reed on the rise

As he comes off the bye this week to be a Round 16 green dot, Bulldogs HOK Reed Mahoney has jumped to now sit as the third most consistent player in the game.

With a consistency rating of 78, Mahoney sits behind only Panthers duo Isaah Yeo and Dylan Edwards on that chart and has scores about 50 in each of his past five games.

Edwards stops Gagai

Across the season his worst score is 43, which makes him stand out in a HOK pool that so far this year has been a little unreliable on the scoring front.

Owned by nine percent of teams right now, there's a good chance Mahoney shoots up in ownership over the next few weeks as coaches look to cover for the likes of Reece Robson and Harry Grant who will miss time due to Origin duty.
