Game Three of the 2024 Women's Ampol State of Origin series kicks off on Thursday, June 27 with the first ever series decider set to take place at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville.
After a crowd of 25,782 braved pouring rain and chilly conditions in Newcastle to watch the Maroons win a thriller 11-10 and level the series at one game apiece, the stage is set for another blockbuster crowd in Queensland's north.

Getting to the Game
Please be patient and exercise caution when driving in and around the Stadium precinct pre, post and during events, as large numbers of pedestrians will be present and changed traffic conditions will be in place. For your safety please follow directions of traffic controllers and police.
Walking is the best way to access the stadium precinct. The precinct is a short walk from the CBD (approx.1.2km). Walk via:
- Lowths Bridge - will be closed on event day
- Central Park bike and pedestrian pathways - north of the Stadium
- Little Fletcher Street Bridge - south-west of the Stadium
Special Events Buses
A free park and ride service will be operating from Lou Litster Park for this event. These buses will be running from 4:15pm on Event Day. Car Parking Access to Lou Litster is from Charters Towers Road into Brodie Street. No left or right turn from Boundary Street into Brodie Street. Please follow directions of traffic controllers and car parking crew.
Taxi and Rideshare
There is an event day Taxi Rank located on the Central Park side of Dean Street
There is a Rideshare Zone on the car park side of Morey Street.

Please note that there is no public parking at the venue.
- Townsville CBD Parking – parking changes around the CBD during event days will include: 15-minute parking restrictions to streets within the blue zone and 2-hour parking restrictions to streets within the orange zone. Find out how these changes apply to you by visiting the Council’s website.

- Reid Park Car Park – NO parking available
- Dean Street Car Park – Parking will NOT be available.
