The provider of many a cash cow last season as injuries forced them to reach deep into their roster, the Dolphins have some elite Fantasy prospects for 2024.
The arrival of Herbie Farnworth – who himself is a top-tier CTR option – means Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow should play exclusively as a fullback in 2024 and be among the best WFBs, while Jamayne Isaako's penchant for scoring tries and kicking plenty of goals means he will also be a great pick in your backline.
In the pack Tom Gilbert has keeper potential in his injury return too, but second-rower Connelly Lemuelu is one to avoid now that he has lost dual position status as both an EDG and CTR.

The big gun
If he can stay injury free, Jeremy Marshall-King has the potential to be the best HOK in Fantasy this year. Even with a handful of games where his minutes were reduced due to his body breaking down, he still ranked fourth in his position in 2023 with a season average of 47.3, which suggests with some better luck he's a mid 50s player. A prolific tackler who features prominently in the attacking structure at the 'Phins, 'JMK' is available at $650k which is over $100k cheaper than HOK counterparts Harry Grant and Damien Cook.

The bargain
At the Bulldogs Jake Averillo failed to inspire on the Fantasy front when he was playing centre, but there's a strong case to suggest that won't be the case at the Dolphins in 2024. The 23-year-old is set to play out on the right edge where Wayne Bennett's men love to attack, which means he's likely to either be scoring plenty of tries or delivering assists for Jamayne Isaako on the wing, who comes off a 24-try season last year. At $447k Averillo looks an underpriced keeper prospect at CTR. Failing that he's a good option to get you through the first part of the year anyway.
Bye round outlook
Round 3, 14 and 18. A dream draw for those playing for overall points in Fantasy, with the Dolphins playing in all three rounds (13, 16 and 19) when Origin players will be unavailable. That schedule is going to mean 'Phins talent is extremely popular through the middle part of the year, particularly those players without Origin prospects. The Round 3 bye means it may be a good idea to leave Dolphins out of your initial side, but from there you can pretty well set and forget. Their final bye in Round 18 won't clash with finals either.
