Having shaken off a mid-season splutter to win consecutive games in the past fortnight, the Titans can potentially lock up a finals spot with a win over the bottom-placed Eels.
After overcoming Wests Tigers 16-4 last week, Gold Coast are two points clear of the fifth-placed Raiders and pending other results sit on the verge of returning to the finals for the first time since their inaugural season in 2021.
Prop Shannon Mato was outstanding last week with a 286-metre effort in the middle of the park and it's on the back of their strong forward pack, and the solid general play kicking of Lauren Brown, that the Titans are enjoying success right now.
While the Eels are playing for pride at this point, they’ll be eager to end their season on a high over the next two weeks after being outclassed by the Roosters in a 46-12 defeat last week.
Just two points separate Parramatta from the three sides ahead of them on the ladder, so they remain every chance of avoiding the dreaded wooden spoon if they are good enough.
Both sides have a win apiece in their prior two meetings, while the Titans have won three of the five games they’ve played at Cbus Super Stadium. Sunday will be the first time the Eels have played at the venue.

Team News
Titans: No late changes for the home side. Jaime Chapman will return at centre despite failing to play beyond the 18th minute last week after suffering a head knock. Taliah Fuimaono was included in the reserves as she edges closer to a return from an ankle injury but came out of the squad on Saturday. Dannii Perese was added to the bench on Saturday with Laikha Clarke dropping to the reserves.
Eels: The Eels are 1-17 with no late changes. A big boost for the side with Kennedy Cherrington back on deck after serving a four-match suspension. Her return switches Jade Fonua to the bench in an otherwise unchanged line-up. Madeline Jones is the reserve.
