There are three rounds left in the NRL Telstra Women's Premiership and the cream is starting to rise to the top as the finals race heats up for 2023. 

The Roosters and Knights maintain their 5-1 record to start the year while the Broncos are beginning to look ominous to put ladder pressure on the likes of the Titans and Raiders in coming weeks. 

NRLW Team of the Week: Round 6

1. Teagan Berry (Dragons)

A performance for the ages and one we've never seen by a player before in the NRLW. Four tries, 287 metres, 15 tackle busts and a couple of try-savers in her milestone 20th game for the Dragons. Should go close to taking out the Dally M medal if her form continues in the final weeks of the regular season.

2. Julia Robinson (Broncos)

The returning representative winger immediately made her comeback from a hamstring felt with a try, two try assists and four tackle busts in a big display for the Broncos on Sunday. 

3. Jessica Sergis (Roosters)

A typical performance from the NSW and Australian centre with a try, three linebreaks and two try assists. Proved hard to handle with 10 tackle busts, one offloads wand was defensively sound with seven tackles.

4. Jaime Chapman (Titans)

Teagan Berry stole the show in a beaten team but Jaime Chapman was a near second as best on field in her side's victory with a double to go with 153 metres and six tackle busts as the Titans got out of jail with victory on Saturday.

5. Brydie Parker (Roosters)

Opened the scoring early for the Tricolours in their 10-try romp of Wests Tigers and got through plenty of work that included 11 carries (163 metres) with two try assists, three linebreaks and three tackle busts.

6. Gayle Broughton (Broncos)

Sharp all afternoon with nine carries and a linebreak, including two try causes, an offload and 18 tackles at 100% efficiency, with the Broncos piling on the points against the Raiders.

7. Ali Brigginshaw (Broncos)

Left the field late with a broken nose but her consistent performances in 2023 have continued with a try, two try assists, four goals and 261 kick metres. The Broncos captain just keeps getting better with age.

8. Millie Boyle (Roosters)

A dominant performance from the NSW representative with a try, 132 metres and seven tackle busts.

9. Rueben Cherrington (Eels)

Got the Eels motoring along through the middle of the field in a 63-minute stint which included eight carries (111 metres), three tackle busts and a team-high 32 tackles as the side secured their first win of the season.

10. Jessika Elliston (Titans)

Got through a mountain of work as usual for her side with 18 carries and 165 metres. More importantly though went over for a try early and made six tackle busts while she was defensively sound with 21 tackles at 100% efficiency.

11. Olivia Kernick (Roosters)

A dominant performance on the edge from the NSW and Jillaroos representative with a try assists, two linebreak assists, 119 running metres, three tackle busts and a team-high 22 tackles.

12. Mahalia Murphy (Eels)

Continues to blossom after moving to the back-row with a first half try, 17 runs (180 metres), 10 tackle busts and an offload in a crucial performance for the Eels to secure their first win.

13. Georgia Hale (Titans)

Racked up 37 tackles with the Dragons on the attack for most of the second half and contributed with the ball through 13 carries (102 metres - 38 of which were post-contact).

14. Lauren Brown (Titans)

Had an off day with the goal-kicking but was sound in every other area after switching to halfback for the clash. Set up a try and conjured three linebreak assists before slotting a field goal under pressure to get the Titans out of jail.

15. Caitlan Johnston (Knights)

Moved back to the middle this week and looked a lot more comfortable causing trouble for the Sharks forward pack with 15 runs for 123 metres which included a try assist for Yasmin Clydsdale and 17 tackles for the afternoon.

16. Tyla Amiatu (Eels)

Quickly making a name for herself in the NRLW after making her debut in Round 1. Got through a mountain of work in a 31-minute stint which included 10 carries (141 metres) with five tackle busts, two offloads and six tackles.

17. Shenae Ciesiolka (Broncos)

A classy performance from the Jillaroos centre with 18 carries for 140 metres including a try assist, three tackle busts and five tackles.
