A statement victory over the Titans on the road has ensured the Panthers are back on top of the NRL's Power Rankings with two rounds to go.

The reigning premiers made it eight straight with a win on the Gold Coast on Saturday, and the 40-14 margin proved enough to topple last week's Power Ranking leaders the Broncos.

Despite taking two points home with a Round 25 bye, the Broncos have now dropped one place into second to mirror their NRL ladder standing ahead of a clash with the Raiders on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Raiders' big win over the Bulldogs saw them jump two places into eighth in the rankings and hang on to sixth position on the competition ladder.

The Roosters also claimed their third-consecutive win with a 34-12 victory over the Eels, climbing one place into seventh on the rankings, three spots higher than their ladder standing.

The Rabbitohs are the big fallers for the week after going down 29-10 to the Knights, dropping two spots into ninth, despite still clinging on to eighth spot on the ladder.

The big news at the bottom end of the rankings is that the Wests Tigers have finally jumped from last place, with their 24-23 victory over the Dolphins moving them up above the Dragons, despite still occupying last place on the ladder.
