Meanwhile, Ricky Stuart's Raiders are also on the climb after recording their biggest win margin of the season, downing the Dragons 36-26, and moving two spots to sit third in the ranks.
After a one-off jump in Round 18, courtesy of the 74-0 drumming over the Wests Tigers, the Cowboys have fallen from first to sixth in the Power Rankings with a Round 19 bye denying the opportunity to back up the record victory.
Meanwhile, the Warriors staked their claim as 2023 finals contenders with a dominant 46-10 win over Parramatta last Saturday and Andrew Webster's side were the biggest movers for the week, jumping from 10th to fifth position - one position higher than their ladder position.
Conversely, the Eels eighth loss for the season has seen them fall from sixth to 10th place in the NRL Power Rankings, three spots below their ladder position.
A bye has the Knights down two places ahead of Friday night's clash with the Tigers to kick-off Round 20.
Newcastle also has the biggest variation between rankings position and actual ladder position, sitting three spots higher than their current standing of 14th on the Telstra Premiership ladder.
