The last time these two sides met the Dolphins produced the equal biggest comeback in premiership history, claiming a 28-26 victory at Suncorp Stadium after trailing by 26 points during the first half.

The Titans have had four wins and four losses since in their ensuing eight games to sit in 10th spot while the Dolphins have gone 2-6 since that remarkable afternoon and find themselves four points outside the eight in 12th spot.

Back on their home turf, the Titans will be desperate to block the Round 8 capitulation from their minds and also bounce back from last weekend's close loss against the Raiders.

Interim coach Jim Lenihan will find it tough however, with his frontline forwards David Fifita, Moeaki Fotuaika and skipper Tino Fa'asuamaleaui all on Origin duty, as well as fullback AJ Brimson.

The Dolphins will have their most potent player Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow in Queensland camp so Kodi Nikorima will most likely line up in the No.1 as he did against the Broncos.

On Sunday, the Titans have a big day planned, with the Tweed Seagulls and Redcliffe Dolphins Hostplus Cup side playing in the Liam Hampson Cup as the curtain-raiser match, while there will also be an All Stars charity match between the Titans All Stars and Dolphins All Stars with funds being raised for injured Future Titans and Redcliffe Dolphins player, Joseph Pouniu.
